    :hello: Morning!

    Happy Anniversary MeanMarie!

Off to dentist today so hopefully this horrible pain will soon be over, fingers crossed! Before that I am looking in on my friend, she is out of hospital but still unable to walk although she can now wiggle her toes!:j so hopefully will be improving some more soon. She is on her own today so will look in before the dentist and then again after I have recovered this afternoon. DH will check on her when he finishes work then me again to tuck her in, so a busy day and I doubt much ostyling will get done, might take my knitting along with me though!

DH's lovely friend visited last night having got back from 2 weeks hols in France and bought us 2 bottles of wine and some interesting flavoured olive oil :T going to have a go at some salad dressing recipes.

Kyle - Spiders! yuk I am still recovering from Aussie Lasses story! my dd would have panicked as well! I wouldn't have coped too well either! Although I have had to learn to be brave and tackle them for her sake.

Waiting for my anti histamine to start to work, got to have a non drowsy one as I have to drive today.

Off for another :coffee: and then I'll start the day!

    Have a good one

    Catz x

    Good morning everyone

    Happy Anniversary meanmarie
    (((hugs))) to JackieO
kyle I don't mind spiders most of the time but I would have hit the roof if I found one in my bed. eeeeeeeek!

Haven't posted for a while as I just don't seem to have much time to myself these days - not that I'm complaining. The Genesis concert was absolutely amazing and there were enough closeups of Tony Banks to satisfy my cravings. :o DD (11yo) is now a convert and wanted to wear her genesis t-shirt to school yesterday instead of her polo shirt.

I had a prank call at 6.30 this morning. Do young lads really have nothing better to do at that time in the morning? However, it means that I got up much earlier than normal and the WM is now washing the last load and I am ahead of myself today. :j Would they be happy to know that they have actually been helpful in pulling their pranks? ;)

The whole of this week is busy so I'm going to have to do a meal plan to make sure dinners are organised. Tonight DS and DD are having aberdeen angus beefburgers with chips and veg and I will have some leftover chicken with veg. Lunch is wholemeal chicken salad sandwiches with fruit salad. May have some graprefruit and mandarins for breakfast. Yum.

((((hugs)))) to all those who need/want one. Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx

Edited to say: I'm yet another one who has a dentist appointment - just a checkup though. So fingers crossed.

    Hiya everybody,

Bit knackered atm. Just got back from visiting my sister. Had a lovely time, we even managed to eat. Some mean feat I tell you, we were neck in neck in the gas bagging stakes. :D She loved her tacky souveniors :p either that, or she's a very good actress. I sorted out tea yesterday so that just needs to be reheated.

    Meanmarie Happy Anniversary
Kyle Maybe you need to wear a hair net to bed. :D
Catz Hope you get some relief from the dentist today. ((((hugs))))

    Good morning donny-gal

I think N9eav's post has been used for the Daily Thread because his thread was posted a mere 2 minutes before yours. It's just timing.
    I don't think you're invisible. :hello:

    Good morning everyoen,

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MEANMARIE

Good luck to all those with dentist appointments!!!

Well, today was meant to be a lovely day, but at the moment its raining!! Hopefully it will brighten up later, as i have loads of washing i really wanted to get out on the line.

Really strange here without DS, DD is loving the mummy time (and so am i to be honest) but i am missing my boy. He has taken his mobile with him (dont think he was meant to) and i am so tempted to ring or text, but dont want him to get into trouble, so im being good at the moment. mind you, everytime the phone rings, i think its going to be the school saying either something has happened or hes been naughty (we have all been told that any bad behaviour and we have to go and collect them!!). i know he is a good boy, but it still worries you when they say something like that!!
Im sure he is having a wonderful time, and isnt thinking of me at all!!!

Have 2 LOs here today (one at nursery this morning) so should get a bit done, LO and i will do the dusting this morning (well i do the dusting, he clings to my legs while i keep turning around and playing 'boo') it takes double the time, but he enjoys it!!

DD has asked for HM chips tonight for dinner, and im going to see if i can find some fish in the freezer to go with them.

OK, better get moving, was going to walk to school, but now the rain is here, we will be driving - still need to get a bomb under DD tho, she is def not a morning person!!!
    Have a lovely day everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Anniestar - happy belated anniversary
Happy Anniversary to meanmarie for today!
Catowen - glad the smell has gone!
    (((hugs))) to JackieO
Kyle - cant believe DH woke up to tell you about a spider, if he knows it upsets you, why on earth did he do it?
Dlb, cant you tell CSA about my OH's experience with em!

Well - I went to see the Clairvoyant last night. Absolutely brilliant. Finally got in touch with my grandparents. Everything he said was exact, so I knew he wasn't bluffing! so I came away happy!

Right, best be off for the school run
    Take care

    Morn ing everyone,

Got back from our holiday yesterday, been to Africa which was lovely and hot glad I have missed all the rubbish weather here. It's not raining here at the moment so im hoping to get some washing done.

Airline has managed to lose OH's suitcase so im kind of hoping that wont arrive until the end of the week to let me catch up on my washing...but will be a pain if it's lost for good.

Veggies have really grown since we have been away, rocket and radish bolted though so have had to chuck some away. Had first of new potatoes from garden yesterday which were lovely.

Plans for today, take car into garage for quote, had a slight bang before we went away just scratches on car but will still cost an arm and a leg:eek:

Lots of washing to do and cleaning the house today, I have a couple of days off before I go back to work.

Lunch salad from garden, tea will be roast chicken new potatoes and salad

    Have a wonderful day

    Bye

Hello folks what a wet looking day again I don't think we will ever get some sun .I for once had a good night's sleep I think now I know what is going to happen I am not so stressed out. My DD was wonderful yesterday at the hospital. She asked all the relevant questions that I meant to ,but forgot .She really is an amazing lady and I am going to take her and her sister (my youngest DD) to Paris for the week-end as soon as I am back and up and running again. I am so lucky to have such two lovely ladies for my DD's. Its the least I can do.I will plan a nice girly week-end for them. it will give me something to 'zone-out' on when I am going through the treatment :D .
My brother rang me from where he lives in France last night and he said that the weather was just as bad there at the moment, and it's usually very warm at this time of the year. Bless him he was a bit worried, but he said 'Come on mate we have got through worse that this and it's true . I can just remember hiding under his jacket in the air-raid shelter and him saying 'if you keep your head down, you will keep your head'
So he's right, its positive thinking and no wobbles from now on.
My eldest grandson Danny(17) came round last night with his girlfriend Chloe. He is off to Majorca with some of his pals this afternoon. He has promised me he will finish painting my fence when he comes home .He's a lovely caring lad, and said he will bring us back a suitcase full of sunshine. He has been working as an 'extra' at the Meridian Studios for a few days ,so come Christmas we shall see him on the Basil Brush show.He starts at college in September .Well I am going to do a little shopping today then put my feet up and have a good long read this afternoon. I want to thank everyone for all their support it is nice to know that there are so many caring people in this world. This is human nature at its best I think God Bless you all and <<hugs to all others on here who need them >>
