Had the confirmation letters from CSA and SRA and surprisingly another couple of letters from bw legal dated 30th September an exact copy of two letters the sent me on 29th June, don't really understand why.
One is telling me excell have passed the matter over to bw legal and the other is telling me to pay up in 16 days or we'll take you to court.

WHY ??? is the big question.

Firstly BWLegal gives you 7 days to pay, now they say 16 days ??

BWLegal are solicitors out of control
They recently tripped up on another thread after they had sent misleading letters and threats then turned around and said "they have suggested to Excel that they take action" ??

The previous threat-o-grams were debt collector letters.

As yet, we are waiting to see a positive court case from this lot.
The Parking Prankster did highlight a case where they bungled it.

As they are ignoring you, best to write back saying that you are very disturbed about their lack of communication and ignoring you and therefore you are yet again complaining to the SRA AND until a suitable reply is received from the SRA, the matter is now on hold.

The SRA site shows that the Head of Legal Practice is
    Jonathan Cracknell

It makes one wonder if this man knows about the menacing letters BWLegal send out. If he does, this is a one road suicide trip

    COMPLAIN AGAIN TO THE SRA

As solicitors and judges mix in the same circles, the word will be out

Forward copies to the SRA and tell them that you are so confused by BW Legal now. Obviously quote the previous complaint reference.

Had replies from both the CSA and today the SRA, the CSA were all for BW Legal but the SRA were a little less on their side telling me that they have received a number of complaints about them and have spoken to them previously about their practices but they are taking no disciplinary or regulatory action however their involvement has caused BW Legal to ask their client to add further information about legal fees to their letters.
Now I guess I'll wait to see what comes next.

You seem to have had the same standard template response we've seen a number of times. In short, little action by the SRA to bring them to heel.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Got a letter from BW saying excell have passed them this case (what again??) so I sent an amended letter I sent them a year or so again accusing them of harrasment, got the reply today and not sure what to answer with, basically their letter states they are sympathetic with my circumstances however I should have read the boards and rung the number displayed and would have most likely prevented a PCN. To cut a long letter short I didn't get a ticket so I'm liable for the PCN, they also laid out a responce to my allegation of harrasment by saying "In response to your allegation of harassment, note that section 1(3)(c) of the Protection from Harrasment Act 1997 (Act) expressly states that a course of conduct that someone alleges to be harrasment will not be deemed so if the person who pursued it shows that in the particular circumstances the pursuit of the course of conduct was reasonable."
Any help with a reply would be appreciated.
    Please
    Thanks.

Nope, that ignores the lines of defence you have...! They would say that!
they also laid out are sponge to my allegation of harrasment by saying "In response to your allegation of harassment, note that section 1(3)(c) of the Protection from Harrasment Act 1997 (Act) expressly states that a course of conduct that someone alleges to be harrasment will not be deemed so if the person who pursued it shows that in the particular circumstances the pursuit of the course of conduct was reasonable.
Of course they did, because the Act does say that, but it says a lot more too, and surely your point was this was UNreasonable.

Anyway this is now farcical. Wait till a claim arrives and win it by defending. Please don't reply asking what defence you have. Search the forum for Excel defence and read some...

Can someone please help, how do i start a new thread?

By hitting the NEW THREAD button. Not on someone's own thread. Not here. My signature tells you where to click.

Why didn't you just hit 'FORUM HELP' up the top near 'Etiquette' and watch the video on how to use the forum?
