Oh dear.
Unfortunately after all this time I have received another letter dated 21/01/2015 from a company called DRP (Debt Recovery Plus) with a demand for payment of £160 by 04/02/2015 or they 'will recommend to the creditor's solicitor that court action should be taken to recover what you owe'
Just thought I'd post this as I now need to reread everything.
How long can they keep sending me these letters the original PCN was 23/11/2013....:beer:0 -
See NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4!
An alleged debt can be pursued for up to 6 years, but the DRP letters (followed by Zenith letters - same company, different letterheads) dry up after a few months. Just file the letters safely.
No need to post anything more every time you get one - we've seen/heard it all before. Come back only in the event of a LBCCC or MCOL papers. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks for the quick response.
Filed as I type hopefully they'll dry up soon...:beer:0 -
I've been going back over the thread and my paperwork and I've found I have sent a 'letter before claim' dated 30th May 2014 for them to cease harassment, which I assumed they did after the last one from Rossendales on 16th July last year, however with this last letter can I not do something to help them stop or is it wise to let them tire of it (if ever).
I really could do with a line drawing under this but if waiting is best then so be it.:beer:0 -
With DCs it's generally best to ignore them completely.0

Got a reduced price offer from the DC dated 2nd October, £128 from £160 their clients final offer to be paid by 16th, ooops, missed it.:beer:0

Got a letter from bw legal dated 29th June giving me 28 days to pay or tell them why not.
Now received a letter dated 2nd August telling me to pay in 10 days (19th) or they have been instructed to commence county court proceedings against me.
They have also brought to my attention the case of parkingeye limited v beavis [2015] UKSC 67 telling me that this case eliminates my main defence should it proceed to court.
Any help would be appreciated.
Is this a LBCCC?:beer:0 -
yes treat it as an LBC and respond with a GAN letter (see other recent threads like others from today or last week)0

Is this a LBCCC?
Yes, same as all the zillions of other BW Legal threads every week. You'll have searched this forum for 'BW Legal' and read a few of them first, we assume, and know the score, after all they are all over the forum and easy to respond to, and usually, to make them back away.
Please read about twenty other threads like this first, it will save us repeating ourselves yet again. By all means run your intended reply by us.
DO NOT PAY. The added £54 is a penalty in itself and even a case lost at a hearing would not cost more than the current demand. But you will know all that from reading all the other threads before you posted, we presume.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have been vigorously reading through GANs letters and cannot find suitable and not sure how detailed to go as mine is a medical reason for entering the car park, I've read that the letter will be read in court if it goes that far so would a description of everything be appropriate?:beer:0
