I would say the 6 months to make a claim for discrimination is from the date of the actual discrimination (as in this case, as soon as Excel knew about the disability but ignored the facts). So as soon as you appealed & said 'oi but I am disabled/have this medical condition'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Quick update
Received letter from Rossendales this morning dated 2nd July,
Payment overdue-please read carefully
Please note this is our final demand for payment in respect of the above detailed debt.
You have failed to respond to our previous letter. We may recommend to our client that:-
A doorstep collector being instructed to visit your property to collect payment; or
A commencement of legal proceedings against you. If legal proceedings are issued or a judgement or a decree is obtained against you, court fees and legal costs could significantly increase the amount you owe.
Once registered a judgement/decree will remain on your credit file for 6 years and may seriously affect your ability to obtain credit in the future.
Call us now etc. etc.
PAYMENT DUE BEFORE 9th July 2014
Yours Sincerely
Paul Lee (printed not signed)

A. Concerned about the doorstep collector.
B. concerned about the fees and costs amount should I loose in court.
C. Should I loose and pay will my credit rating be affected?
Thanks

A doorstep collector being instructed to visit your property........
Oh dear, the dreaded 'doorstep collector'. :rotfl: Guess what, they've not collected any doorsteps yet - total bluff and bluster. In the unlikely event of them wanting your doorstep (perhaps it's of a unique design, making it highly collectable!), you are within your rights to them to FRO - call plod if they don't!A commencement of legal proceedings against you.
Rossendale can't commence legal proceedings against you, only the PPC, their solicitors or the landowner. I can't imagine Excel going to court on something so potentially explosive as a full-blown EA 2010 case.Once registered a judgement/decree will remain on your credit file for 6 years and may seriously affect your ability to obtain credit in the future.
An economy with the truth in an attempt to intimidate - only if a judgment is awarded against you with a costs order and you fail or refuse to pay the amount within 28 days. And being seemingly so au fait with court issues you would assume they know the difference between judgment and judgement! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Does my initial letter count as a MOIRA or do you think another letter to stop them calling is worth it ?
If they do call can I ring the police to remove them?:(

Lost me on 'MOIRA' - please enlighten.
They WON'T come knocking! Did you do the Search recommended by Coupon-mad above? How many doorstep visits were reported? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
