Can I just say, I haven't lost any sleep. I just simply asked what anyone thought? All of you saying basically I need to get a life, need to get a life and stop being so judgemental.

Can I just ask why you are getting so defensive when people aren't agreeing with you?

People aren't attacking you, they're just expressing their opinions that you are overreacting. Just as much as you are entitled to your opinion so is everyone else.

Probably because they are expressing an opinion on me as a poster rather than the subject of the post. To be told to get a life or worry about more important things isn't exactly answering whether they thought the original comment was an issue?

If I wanted everyone to agree with me then I wouldn't have posted on here as that would never happen?

    Few points...

How do you KNOW for certain they were gay?

Men who wear women's clothing are NOT necessarily gay - it's just a common prejudiced assumption.

Not all 'camp' men are gay.

    Just saying...

I personally like ant and dec but just thought the comment was a little close that was all. As others have said, it did seem to get lost in translation, hence the dancers faces.

Anyway, I'm over it, as well as these comments. But thank you and one other person who backed me up slightly :)

So a comment that was a "little close" and was "lost in translation" warrants a complaint to Ofcom?

Hate to see how you would react to something that really was offensive.

(Or maybe you have now realised that it is a non-issue and are trying to distance yourself from your initial OTT response ;))

    No there isn't.

There is a VERY strong chance though, that people who don't watch BGT, (or Big Brother/X Factor/TOWIE etc,) think they are better and cleverer and of a higher class than people who do watch these programmes. ;)

I laugh at loud at these people. :rotfl:

Of course there is. Strong chance or virtual certainty. Circa 12million people watch it . Its pretty much guarenteed.

To be fair though "get a life" is a fairly standard response, and one which at times is fairly apt....

From what I have read, the posters have answered whether they thought it was an issue or not....as in "there's bigger things to worry about", much bigger things IMO.

Actually I don't watch any of these programmes but I don't think that I'm either cleverer or better than those that do.

I don't watch BB or XF or BGT because I'm convinced that the winner has already been decided by the powers that be.

I don't watch TOWIE because it upsets me that programmes like this make idiots famous and rich and encourages young people to have the wrong sort of ambition
