So, what was offensive?0

Presumably the act on BGT being discussed here is Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Mehdi ?
I don't watch BGT because OH prefers The Voice and hates Simon Cowell. I follow Yanis Marshall on Twitter and he posted a link.
Although Parisian, Yanis teaches dance and does choreography mostly in London, which could explain why BGT. He's a really talented choreographer.
Yanis gave an interview to The GailyGrind last year in which he said: "I'm as gay as they come" and he detailed exactly what he was looking for in a boyfriend, including: "someone who doesn't spend more time in the bathroom than me".
I don't think a man who dances and wears makeup is necessarily gay or bisexual, that's kind of a stereotype.
I didn't see the remark so all I can say really is that Yanis Marshall didn't say anything abt it on Twitter IIRC.
Don't believe that Ant & Dec would deliberately set out to offend anyone. He just made a quip that wasn't really funny.
Edited to add: Yanis is also half British0 -

I've often thought that Ant & Dec have been very careful not to offend people -in fact I've thought of them of as the modern day version of Morcombe & Wise.2014 Target;

I don't like plenty of these reality shows like TOWIE, Made in Chelsea and Geordie Show, but I don't look down on people that do. IMO they are trash, but if people want to watch them, then fire away! I can hardly talk, I love Celebrity BB! :rotfl:
Yes VERY. And that is exactly what I have been saying. The people who are snobby with a superiority complex can't see that they're like this though, so it's a bit pointless saying anything because they're all in denial!
I sometimes see/hear people saying 'I watch the Voice' not rubbish like BGT or X factor, and one woman actually said to me last summer that she watches 'The Voice' and doesn't watch X factor as she 'is not a chav!' :rotfl: as if watching 'The Voice' made her a better person than people who watch X factor.
Personally, I think that 'The Voice' is as boring as hell, and I have yet to see one single interesting winner who has gone to do anything significant after 'The Voice' has finished. Can anyone actually name a VOICE winner (without looking at Google???)
I seriously doubt it.
Some people will probably list all of them soon, and will say that they didn't look it up; but I won't believe them. :rotfl:Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!
You're not singing anymore........ You're not singing any-more!

Husband just can't stand Simon Cowell and won't watch X Factor and BGT as a consequence. He's not that struck on Kylie either but thinks will.i.am is cool and so do I.
I thought this latest season of The Voice UK was pretty dire and I don't see any of them becoming international superstars.
Been watching The Voice Australia at the moment on YouTube and it's got Ricky Martin as well as will.i.am, Kylie and Joel Madden. A couple of people really stood out but both were drama school-trained musical theatre actors already and one was already lined up to do musical this summer.
I'd never watch Made In Chelsea (tho I used to live there) or TOWIE because I don't like that nothing much happens stuff.
The Drag Queens of London on London Live is really good, you get to see them in their everyday lives, getting ready, going out, biatching each other up - it's really good, you get to know them as people.
Another one that is years old was about an airport. I want documentaries to show me things I didn't know. What's interesting about either ppl on benefits OR richlittledarlings getting off their heads on booze ?0 -

Me too. Worse still a friend from years back went to Amy Child's' salon to have a vajazzle done then went to the sugarhut and some restaurant they frequent in search of TOWIE celebs. She is not some youngster she is 42 :-/0 -

morcombe and wise they ain't , eric and ern were funny and had real talent , the only talent ant and !!!!!! seem to have is to find themselves extremely hilarious ....which they ain't , i would compare them to the likes of ross, gervais and brand ,people who you can't fathom why they've done so well on their meagre abilities
going back to the original question, where !!!!!! said to the guys ,i bet your wives and girlfriends are ... whatever he said , they didn't seem to take offence , however if they were saying i bet your boyfriends are .... whatever, to an 20 stone heterosexual male weightlifter then they would have probably got a good seeing to . now that i would love to see0 -
But that's the point, they wouldn't dream of saying that to man nor would they say to a "straight" seeming woman "what does your girlfriend think of this" but yet that question came up to a gay man.
Anyway.... Back to towie

But what is actually offensive about it to anyone other than those who are heterophobic? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
