Humph! I am fed up! I was in a mission today as oh is out and I thought I could crack on. But just sat down. Bad move as I need to get on. Can't decide whether to put the kettle on and have a proper break or just crack on!
So far I have done two loads of washing and put them on the line. Sorted out ds1's clothes. 2 small piles to put in the loft and take to charity shop. Not as much as i had hoped!!
Started to tackle the study!! Half way through now and have got all the stuff without homes to sort now now. That's the hard bit! Dusted the study. Photographed some bits to sell. Half cleaned a window! Ie inside but still not done outside!!
Also unloaded and reloaded dishwasher and took the boys to gardening club and picked up my new breadmaker. I want to get it out of the box but I know if I do I definitely won't get anything done!

    Wasing on th line
Growbags purchased (used coupons and refund on what they overcharged me last time so no actual cost today)

Trying to decided whether to put my gardening stuff on and get all the back garden jobs done or leave it until tomorrow and do front and back all in one go and get on with all inside stuff now - not raining but very cloudy here.

Fizz - maybe I'll miss an entire cycle and then we can get back in sync. When was our last AF, I'm sure I've missed one adn not just forgotten ;):

Well done again Piggers. I have decided on gardening and am eating frogs. Very cloudy but warm. Just on a tea break before my next chore.

Ooh yes dusty I'll try grab post no2 :T

I've been very busy today. Finished putting camping stuff away and put garage back to rights. Swept playhouse (again). Cut the lawn and did all the edging. I have never done this before (edging) :o it was DH job so hasn't been done in nearly 3yrs so you can imagine how much the lawn was encroaching on the path that runs around it :o it was bl00dy hard work. DS helped me tidy by collecting all the snipped bits on his tractor and pedalling them to the brown bin :A

Done two more lots of laundry, looked after DS friend for an hour (not that he is any trouble, and even makes the job of looking after DS and DDs easier, but he did cry when mum took him home, aww), sorted a bag of hand me downs we've been given for DD (about 15 assorted tops!) and made a rather delicious stew and dumplings. DS had about 4 dumplings, and DD is happy that she's had some "steak". They both ate really well.

Tomorrow we are meeting friends for Sunday lunch, and tea will be bits from the fridge that need using up.

I had to check back on my Facebook to see the dates that we were in Barcelona as I knew the old hag was with me then :( That was mid-April and I really don't remember her visiting since?! She must have surely, but my memory is bobbins these days! I'm fairly sure I OVed last week but that would have been way off schedule. Hmm…!

I've been catching up with my washing mountain today, 3 loads are on various airers, the fourth is in the machine and I'm just waiting for DH to get home from cricket to get the light load in.

Ironing all done and put away.

Ds1 and I have emptied all the kitchen cupboards on one side, got rid of lots of packaging with nothing in (WHY can't people just put them in the bin?!?!), wiped all the shelves (top and bottom), the doors and the cupboard backs and put everything back in a semblance of order. It won't last, I know that, but at least for today I can open a cupboard and smile.

I will do dinner for the skids in a min and then cwtch up with DS1 for a while; he has been SO good since I took his computer etc away after his bad behaviour, very helpful and thoughtful. Makes me wonder why I didn't do it sooner ;)

Sounds like you re-synched with me Fizz.. My last af was mid-April.. never mind.. let's just be glad she turned up.. the alternative is unspeakable (the 'P' word not the 'M' word)

    DW on
6 loads of laundry folded and put away
    Line full
WM x2 half filled so not turned on.

DD3 took a huge pile of stuff upstairs belonging to the 3 girls. 1 large basket of toys shunted to the front room.. they are all being amassed in there so I can find time and have them all in one room to make sorting easier.. in theory!!!!

another binbag of rubbish and a couple of dead boxes out of the back room and 3 sorted for chazzer. My sister is coming to rifle through the box Tiddles outgrew for my niece, hopefully she will take some but the rest is off to CS.

I have done a few more pics of stuff to sell so with luck that will bring in a few quid.. it is accumulating in my paypal for laminate for the back room.. :)

Bay in back room cleaned.. OH is useful for cleaning top windows ;)

Dinner cooked and snaffled.. bath time for grubby girlies after my cuppa and then I am cracking on with my knitting of the blanket, it is nearly halfway done! The colours Moomin chose are lovely.

  • Hi - very late today!!!! Been busy - to library researching something for D Aunt, to local outlet centre for more new tops for hols - why do mine go manky all at once? - Answer because they are all so very old!!!!! Think I'll sort the worst out for rag bag for charity shop when we return from hols.

Went out for carvery lunch with Dsis D aunt and D B-in-law. Then took D aunt for a drive and trip to local market town. DH sat watching cricket whilst we wandered around! Quick cup of coffee in farm cafe and back home to gardening as it is so nice.

Will catch up with you all tomorrow - but have to say well done Piggers - go Piggers!!! You are putting me very much to shame - hangs head!!!

Ha my last memory was at London Zoo on 17th April and I left the old bag there. I wondered if I Oved last week too and like you say way off schedule, maybe we are still in synch.

Done loads in the back garden, just having dinner then I'll see if DS1 is driving back or if I need ot go fetch them.

Washing in and all the newly planted stuff has been watered.
