Well I'm turning in for the night. I haven't emptied the DW but the bedding is brought in, all tidied round, top created from playsuit and cr@bbies ginger beer consumed.
I've just had a bath and nitty grittyd myself but nothing, same for kids too tonight so looks like DD and I escaped! Mentioned it to mum of DS pal who was here earlier and she said he had them this week too, they are inseparable at school so must have caught them together...
Forecast is pretty good for tomorrow, so I will get more washing out (its breeding, I swear) then we will take bikes to the park, then out for a late lunch in the afternoon.Bossymoo

Well today all I managed was lots of WUDUPA
, 2 loads of washing and 1 dried. DN has gone home with DSis. DD has run the Hoover around too.
Hopefully I can get a bit more done this week, hotpoint man is coming on Monday.
I am looking in earnest at kitchens to try and get an idea of costs. At least that way, I can figure out how long I need to save for to buy the units and then I know that every extra night shift I work will pay 1 days labour for fitting it.

Hello June!
Pinch and punch for the first of the month, white rabbits etc etc!
Good news: I appear to have lost 3lb of my 10 alreadywater retention anyone?
More good news: I appear to have 1 less bill to pay - my parking ticket has been cancelled! hurrah
Further good news: DD has stayed in bed, must have been cosy with the blanket holding her duvet in placeBossymoo

Ah, my 13yo is almost too big to sit on my knee for a cuddle, he is all legs at the moment. He has now gone to find the telly/xbox/other gadget.
So, lots of things I SHOULD do today but not much that I WANT to do.
I should list some clothes on ebay, update my finance spreadsheets, do some studying and take down the curtains in our bedroom for washing. None of this is very appealing.
OH and eldest are off fishing I think. I was hoping DS might come with me to the garden centre then we might go for a walk along the river and have an ice cream. We spend very little time together these days. However, if he wants to meet up with his mates I will very graciously be taxi service.
Looks like its going to be a lovely day, enjoy the sunshine everyone!0 -
Morning flyladies. Good news on the parking ticket Bossy. It's a lovely day here too. I've been fluttering, getting pork in slow cooker, watering indoor plants, cleaning fridge and sorting stocks in the freezers.
I'm now having breakfast. My challenge is going well too, no snacks yet! I am planning to go in the gym, bath, walk dogs, gardening and I'm going to one of those community 'big lunches' today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
Bossy slap and a kick for being so quickgood start to the month for you.
DS1 hurt his thumb playing cricket yesterday, he'll moan all day now as he won't be able to play.
DS3 seems very tired so no training for him.
DS2 away on a bike ride before another day of revision.
Bed stripped and in the WM, shower next then off to buy citric acid and pick elderflowers - corial here we come.
Oh need to hoover and mop kitchen floor, cats have been practicing their disection skills, DS2 has walked dry mud through it and I've topped it off with a sprinkling of washing powder :rotfl:The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Pinches, punches, slaps, kicks and white fluffy bunnies!!
OH off to gym with DS1 today.. I need to dig out Tiddles bed.. they are back tonight instead of tomorrow so she will need to sleep in it.. clothes sorting it is then! I may bag up the clothes and drop them at my sisters.. OH wants to head to B&Q (feed his orange tabard fetish!!) and the tile place is across the road so I may as well go too.. eye up tiles and maybe purchase 1 or 2 billion!
Beautiful day here finally, it's been meh all week..
Cuppa slurped.. Off to check Squeaks bed for wetness and get everyone in clothes and head out to buy flowers for the girls pots they painted.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Slight change of plan here as DD has only just finished hogging the bathroom. Gym - done and I have hoovered and mopped through the house.
Just having a cuppa and snacking on strawberries....go me.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Had a lovely day out at a wildlife park yesterday at DD1's request. There was DD1, her boyfriend, DD2 and her friend, and myself, it was strange they seem to have so much fun, I would have thought teenagers wouldn't be that interested anymore.
Some how my house seems to have been trashed again
DW on, WM on, one load already on the line. Just having a coffee then I'll start on picking the front room up again0 -
Hoeny Bear - there are tamper proof/lockable smoke detectors available.
