It may seem at times that there is no point passing on suspicious activity to the Police but if no one passes it on the Police won't have a complete picture. They rely on the public's eyes & ears more than you think.
This is important, I think. You don't want some drug dealer coming after you for revenge  Can the OP be sure that his/her identity won't be revealed or guessed at?The report button is for abusive posts, not because you don't like someone, or their opinions0 -
Best to ring Crimestoppers if you want to remain anonymous- the info will be forwarded onto local police
If there is other reports also related to address then they will look into it0 -
I agree - CrimeStoppers if you want guaranteed anonymity.
Growler's post is spot on.
A friend of mine did ring his local police when he spotted what he thought was dealing activity near his house. The police came round immediately nicked the person involved. However, most times your information will become part of a larger picture and subsequent investigation, so you don't always know when / whether a response will be visible.0 -
Many thanks for all the replies, I think im going to send crime stoppers a message. I don't really want to talk on the phone.
There are 2 things that are bugging me. 1 for the fact im not sure that the dealer is living there but i know he stays a good few days at a time. on specking with the lady before I know he has a place some where else but she has never said hes moved in,
the other thing is she works with the police so she should no better.0 -
Good call - provide as much detailed information as you can, as suggested previously. Times, dates, frequencies etc. Gives them far more to go on and makes the report far more credible from the outset, too.0

In that case, I wouldn't use a phone that could be traced back to me.0 -

Any identifying information given to CrimeStoppers is protected from disclosure to anyone so you can rest at ease on that score.0

There are a few drug dealers in my road and several of us law abiding residents have reported them to Crimestoppers many times over a period of about two years.
Absolutely nothing has been done about it and the dealers are just carrying on their trade regardless.0 -
I have done a bit more digging, and it seem that the person that I believe to be dealing does have a criminal record and has served 2 years in prison.
its amazing the stuff you can find on the internet these days0
