Morning all!
Anyone else had their paypal refunded from decathlon but it's not showing in their account?
Mine is listed as refund completed but also says 'hold placed'. It's one of those annoying things where if a hold is placed I can't tell if it was before or after the refund. Silly paypal. And my account balance is zero. Confused!
Also- Rooted that's what I was trying to do with my Kleenex shop yesterday- get a good comparison also. Does anyone know of any cleaning products (aside from dishwasher tabs as we don't own one) that compare favourably? I'd be much obliged to ya.Debt free 6th December 2014

Ah I can see what has happened (although I don't know why). Decathlon have refunded me and Paypal are holding the funds 'while they review'.

You say that now Nerfdad but I bet you'll miss them when they're gone!
I miss our tribe dreadfully at times but take great pride in watching them fly.
I must say though, I do like having some more time and space for myself and dh too, not to mention a better cash flow, and giving up the taxi business has been heaven!
The comings and goings of our tribe as they occasionally pass through send me into a downward spiral. Youngest son was only here for a night last week but even so the house was so empty the next day. Eldest son is due to go off today, if he ever gets his act together, on a 3 week course - about 5 hours away so quite possible he will still be back weekends. He has driven us crackers over the last 2 days - his bag and passport were stolen when he was away so it took an entire day and 5 trips to and from the post office to get the replacement. Today he has decided he needs to sell his car.
Even so this week will feel awful with an empty house again.
I feel I need to give myself a kick up the rear. I know what things I need to do to make myself feel less miserable - a few hours tackling the huge list of gardening jobs outside while the sunshine holds followed by a few hours doing some competitions and then an Elite catch up on the sofa late on - far better than sitting and wallowing in misery. The kids are moving onwards with their lives and so should we.
I think its the feeling of the youngsters moving onwards and leaving us behind but that's how it should be.
Over the last year youngest son finished uni, left home, went to work full time, eldest son went off on a 6 month tour of duty, my Dad died, my car had a catastrophic failure and also died, eldest child got promoted, moved to live and work in London But you can't live in the past you just need to keep moving forward.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
