    Morning everyone :)

Caught up after having been away. Fab time in Cornwall with some fantastic sunny days (and some very wet days too :rotfl:)

Agree David. Thread is very quiet and seems to lack its usual bounce and volume of posts - weeks catch up was quick  TM, don't think its because there are no bargains/glitches, just that peeps aren't posting much on here, if at all :( There are plenty of amazing deals out there, and I am wondering if folk are dropping out for the same reasons? Thread seems to have narrowed to a much small number of "regular" posters, so maybe let's try and encourage back that greater diversity and bigger pool of posters, which I believe is what makes this place so strong and gives a healthier balance :j.

Anyhoo, fairy dishwasher tabs 30 pack offer posted the other evening, indeed work out better than free as part of a T online pp shop even before the £5 wys £20 is taken into account. Compare £12 to £5 at A, but only cost £6 if bought with wul. Even better bargain if spend is topped up to £20 for the household CS code.

Am amazed not to see a string of posts on this £5 off £20 code - there are some fantastic bargains to be had getting £10 pp on a £15 spend or less. Have seen Shirley's Kleenex :T:T, but have I missed others?

Hope you enjoy your Sunday :)

Checkoutsmart app - it is run by the team behind Quidco but sometimes different offers than ClickSnap. Different account - cannot use same receipt with both but can enter two different receipts and take up both offers if it appears on both.

The biggest one was the one with the redcurrants but also the one that needed the most work doing to it

I've gone for the smallest one that is closest to the shed and water. It has a patio and a little front garden too :D

It needs much less work than the bigger one. It comes with strawberries and cultivated blackberries and some other stuff too.

I'll have the keys within a couple of weeks :j:j

    Sounds lovely :j

    TY kindly

I will soon be doing Apps as I am about to get my first non-dark ages phone :p

I am finally putting my foot down after letting all family swan round with Iphone this and that for years. Plus even though I should be too old to care, I have started to find it a bit embarrassing at work on our open plan bank of desks when everyone has their swanky phones out and I keep mine hidden :o

I think it is quieter here as there have been fewer glitches over the past week or so? Also half term so some people away/spending time in RL ... and we have had less opportunities to check in ... than we do when working ;).

Morning Elite  it's a lovely sunny day today

I've been reading Allen Carr's 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking', that man talks so much sense. I'm hoping to read the last of it by this evening so that I can smoke my last cigarette.

One of the things that's been a bit of a revelation to me is that I can take all the nicotine replacement in the world, but it does not get rid of the physical withdraws. I thought it was because I was addicted to some other chemical in the cigarette but really, it's not physical withdrawal - it's fear and insecurity that I can't have a fag

Probably not very interesting, but thought I'd share it anyway ;)

Off to read what I missed out on yesterday :)

'Walking Away' by C Day Lewis

It is eighteen years ago, almost to the day –
A sunny day with leaves just turning,
    The touch-lines new-ruled – since I watched you play
Your first game of football, then, like a satellite
Wrenched from its orbit, go drifting away.

Behind a scatter of boys. I can see
You walking away from me towards the school
With the pathos of a half-fledged thing set free
Into a wilderness, the gait of one
Who finds no path where the path should be.

    That hesitant figure, eddying away
Like a winged seed loosened from its parent stem,
Has something I never quite grasp to convey
About nature’s give-and-take – the small, the scorching
Ordeals which fire one’s irresolute clay.

I have had worse partings, but none that so
Gnaws at my mind still. Perhaps it is roughly
Saying what God alone could perfectly show –
How selfhood begins with a walking away,
And love is proved in the letting go.
'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
