I must go and have a nosey today. I need to go and see if the sauces are 75% off yet too, I am sure I read something other day they had been reduced further.
Wonder if those 58p ketchups are now 29p?
No they have gone up £1.16 or £1.18
Lamb chops are now £4.70ish :eek:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -
I quit over 13 years ago with the aid of this book and I feel that he is correct in that it IS the fear and insecurity that you smoke.
I found that the first bit of stress/unhappiness I was reaching for the ciggie packet, but that fades eventually it's more like missing an old friend that you turned to but they are not around anymore.
You sound as if you can't wait to stop:jI know he says smoke while you're reading it but I quit before that I didn't see the point of waiting (I was smoking nearly 40 a day by the way) but each to their own>
I know if I can do it everyone can:) I never used replacement stuff either because to me that just made it worse.
Hope you find it easier and :T on stopping.
Thank you, and well done for being smoke-free for so long, quitting 40 a day is a real achievement :T
I am desperate to stop, I've been getting really upset about it over the last week or so. But I want to make sure I get the facts about the mental side of it consolidated in my mind before my mind starts playing tricks on me when I stop, which is why I'm smoking until the end of the book(or maybe I'm telling myself that so that I can smoke for longer :rotfl:)

Caught up after having been away. Fab time in Cornwall with some fantastic sunny days (and some very wet days too :rotfl:)
Agree David. Thread is very quiet and seems to lack its usual bounce and volume of posts - weeks catch up was quick  TM, don't think its because there are no bargains/glitches, just that peeps aren't posting much on here, if at allThere are plenty of amazing deals out there, and I am wondering if folk are dropping out for the same reasons? Thread seems to have narrowed to a much small number of "regular" posters, so maybe let's try and encourage back that greater diversity and bigger pool of posters, which I believe is what makes this place so strong and gives a healthier balance :j.
Hope you enjoy your SundayApologies I have been AWOL for this week as I've had to work extra as short staffed, what with my ghastly back ache, it's been a real struggle to 'straighten up' in the morning before work with the aid of tablets. Then to work full time whilst being in agony, the last thing I want to do when I get home is read though here - I'm so so sorry.
Last night I had to lay down on floor to watch BGT as I couldn't get comfortable.
The back is 90% better - but I now have sciatica down my left legit's just trying to sit in this chair to type is so uncomfortable, will try & keep up here & elsewhere after Wednesday
My home is a pig sty - Fourp just doesn't notice 'stuff' & mess & dirt
I have ironing in a 6' pile dating back to when we returned from Salou  I just can't stand or sit long enough to tackle it.
Nevermind - on the good side I bumped into my sister who spoke to me but I could tell she had been avoiding me
How are you all?
♥Ah I can see what has happened (although I don't know why). Decathlon have refunded me and Paypal are holding the funds 'while they review'.
Hmmm *scratches chin*
When I get refunded from other internet shopping through PayPal it does the same thing
