    JUST A THOUGHT

The Boots forum over at Paidtoshop.com is hardly used at all - take a look:

    BOOTS

maybe we should use that instead of this one thread
(Just thinking how many pages I'll have to read when I get back from 10 nights in Kos *GULPS*)

Just a thought... Couldn't the threads be separated into two, one with the bargains and stuff and the other one for discussions like there used to be with the Tesco misprices.

I've lost count of the amount of times this has been suggested...although personally I think it is a very good idea.....this time last year...or maybe a bit earlier...we did have a seperate chat thread and it was closed down....it was in the moneysavers arms!! Maybe Bootsers aren't as important as Tescoer's :D
  • Has anyone seen the Nikon 7900 in store? None of my large local stores have it. It has the underwater mode I'm looking for for Scuba diving. Do we know if these offers will be online too?

    Hi punkrjb

She wasn't willing to try and then another SA backed her up too, they were both jobsworths. I may give customer services a call and complain and tell them I'm not happy being embarrased like that, see if I can get some extra points out of them!! :rotfl:

I tried using the 100p & 75p extra vouchers from AC machine, but SA wouldn't let me use both. She said it says you can only use one extra points voucher per transaction. I couldn't argue really, because it does say that...I was just hoping she wouldn't notice! I won't pay at her till again, LOL
  • Hi

I would really appreciate any advice, I placed an order on Boots.com for the reduced toys at the beginning of the month but there was a problem with my advantage card being accepted as it was tied to an old email address that since I have changed phone compaines I no longer have access too.

I didn't realise this as the 500 points on a £45 spend was accepted but my points total wasn't showing up online. After I placed the order I noticed it said I had no points for this order so I contacted customer services, they advised they had changed my email address for me but couldn't add my advantage card to this order and that I would have to call back when I received this order and I could have points added. I double and triple checked that there wouldn't be a problem as I had ordered mouthwashes for the extra 200 points each and used the 500 pointer code and the gentleman I spoke to advised he put a note on my account sayin there wouldn't be a problem with the points being added on later.

I should get roughly around 1880 points on my £46 spend. I have just called and the gentlemen advised he would add my 200 points in total on my £46 spend, I then had to correct him that it was 200 points for each mouthwash and I had six and tell him about my code again, by the end of the conversation he said he would have all my points added but he wouldn't tell me how many that was he said he would have to work it out.

I feel really anxious as I'm heavily preggers and would have rather have bought all these things in store if I wasn't going to get the points online and I spent far more then I wanted to get the extra 500 points and bought the mouthwashes because they seemed a good deal with the 200 points on each and to top it all off there was a yoga mat missing and the box of one of my toys was very badly damaged luckily it's for my own child for christmas as I would never give it to somebody else and I also would have never bought it like this in store.
He made nothing of the fact that an item was missing and other was damaged so I am assuming he is not bothered but that will just be the icing on the cake if I don't get the correct amount of points too. You may think I'm silly but I am due any day and have been having braxton hicks all day and because of medical reasons they are talking about inducing me tomorrow I could really do without this as it will be the last thing on my mind when I have this baby. I feel quite tearful as it is and this has made an altogether not very comfortable day that bit worse. Any advice on what else I should do.

    Thank you

    Kerry

I saw that in my local store the other day. It's not a bad freebie and with all the fcuk stuff on sale at the moment, you'd get a lot for 8.00! today, I only bought 2 photo albums @ 3.00 bogof. Paid with points again. I haven't spent real money in boots for a while now. Waiting patiently for a new glitch! I bought the mitchum deodrant (with vouchers) from wilko, as it was cheaper. I got 2 and paid 36p each.

:rotfl: That's what I thought I'll remember what she looks like and avoid her from now on. The funniest thing is I thought I'll go to this girl as she looks young so I was hoping she'd be scan happy with my vouchers, but someone must have trained her well  Darn it!
