I did an assault on the sale items yesterday, and it came to waaay more than I thought. I checked my receipt and realised that I had been charged full price for a few things and went back to the desk, whereupon the SA pointed out that my receipt showed I had been receiving a discount for being Over 60. Ooops. :o

She all but accused me of pinching someone else's card! Eventually she called the manager over who refunded me about £17 quid and recharged me £3 for the clearance items , but was utterly baffled as to why I had this discount. And is now contacting AC to remove it from my card.

Sorry to quote myself:p Went to a different store today and bought 1 item and tried to use my AC. The SA said that it had been recalled and she had to retain it:mad:.I made her call CS and they reckon all my points will be transferred to my new card which will take a few weeks to arrive, but I am so peed off that they think I am being dodgy when I didn't do a thing to activate the over 60 discount - IYSWIM.

When I used mine it wouldn't scan and SA couldn't work out why, she had to go off and get a supervisor to add the points on manually

Same for me, SA said its only for the one on the front of the voucher and I said sorry but it says any total effects and a supervisor added them.
  • Manchester Market St boots - good toy sale, got a baby Meccano set and a nice plasticine animal set with ten tubs of plasticine for £2.50 each (they were 75% off).

I picked up a Slendertone Mentor health and fitness program from boots today. It was £40 reduced down to £2.50.
It cam with a booklet that tells you how the program works and a disc. You are meant to read the disc and log onto a webite to get a personalised program - I presume it's a bit like weight wtahcers online. I say presume as when I went to log onto the website it no longer exists.

Does any one know if CS is open tomorrow? I'm going to give them a call and ask for a refund.

Hi Sonee Just wondering if you got your extra points for the Origins added on?

NO- They removed the offer from the website ( i took a pic on my phone though) and i couldn't get through by phone so i emailed .Their response was sickly polite and was really a very informative lecture on boots deleivery and that i should be able to get my points (excluding the 750) through the machine:rolleyes: (as if I wasn't aware of that anyway).I had to call today as 1 of the origins shampoo had leaked into the box and 1 benefit sharpener was cracked,he refunded the £8.50 for the shampoo as no more in stock to replace but didn't mention the sharpener.Actually for the first time in life somebody else took over the conversation!Im having a bad bootsing week , horrid experince instore today and now this:confused:
