  • Got a load of children's clothes in the 50% sale with an extra 20% off.

I also noticed their swimwear section is 50% off everything, and I also saw the No 7 Gorgeous limited edition range half price (the eye shadow, mascara and nail varnish)

This is all the Peterborough Serpentine branch, and they still had a few sale toys, FCUK, and botanics stuff left dotted around the store but nothing I picked up seemed to have 70% off tho
See the stars they’re shining bright
    Everything’s alright tonight

Same for me, SA said its only for the one on the front of the voucher and I said sorry but it says any total effects and a supervisor added them.

Haha, I swear some of them just make up their own terms and conditions to save having to give anything cheaper/for free!

I love getting people bargains! I even offer to hold up the queue for them to go get their free and half price items but some people look at me like I'm crazy and say no!

I actually had a 15 or so year old boy looking at me like I was setting him up the other day. He was buying T&G hairwax for £8.99 when I told him they were two for £7. He was quite suspicious until i gave him his change lol.

How mean of her! I can't believe she group coded it so you wouldn't get it free! Anything with a clearance sticker with the price written on will usually go through the til with the same offer as the rest of the brand. Did you phone to query this? :(

Yesterday, I went back to the store where I bought the 2xsoltan and double-checked the sign and it clearly reads: 'BOGOF on ALL soltan' so I mentioned this to the SA when I was paying for my latest bargains. She called the manager over, who agreed that I should've got BOGOF and the SA should not have put them through as beauty products. He refunded the item I shouldnt've been charge for.

    Good morning bootsers,

Looking for some feedback really. As the first post has not been updated for a good while (11/7/07) Im thinking of starting a new thread and updating the first post. I have noticed the new threads are not usually started until about 200 pages or so and as we are only on page [strike]57[/strike] 68 should i do this today to make it easier to find the info we all crave or should i wait until the thread gets longer.

    Any feedback would be great.

    TIA

EDITED - Obviously i dont want to tread on findingmyownways toes but i aint seen her about to talk to her about it.

I'll second that Queen_B. I hate the smell of fake tan and have a cupboard full of stuff I can't use. Dove is my choice now and it's regularly on bogof. You can probably search the web and get a free sample to try before you buy. I'm tempted with the St Tropez daily moisturizer but may wait and see if it gets a good write up first, and it's on offer.
Re St tropez everyday fake tan.....Dont bother with it! It does exactly the same as Dove but smells worse and is more expensive! Save your cash! HTH

id say do it,it gets confusing for newbies and the same questions get asked, would it be possible to flick through the threads and see what the most frequent questions are and add them on to the 1st page too! :D
