I loved insanity. 35 and done no exercises since I left school. I did not. Record measurements but my total exercises for the fitness test went from 84 to over 200 so you can easy see it working. I could also see fit loss as my body became more defined. A long way off from that ripped look tho. I didn't complete the last 2 weeks due to time restraints. It's hard, it's long but the trick is to know it's OK to rest. Most think because they need to rest 4/ times, they can not do it therefore it doesn't work. Rest when you need to. A long rest, pause the DVD. It took me until the last day of month 1 just to get through the warmup without taking a 10second rest and a drink of water. I could not do the drills in the 2nd month. Just modify then. Or find proper for. It's better to do 2 push ups properly than 10 incorrect ones.

i find it hard to really push myself when im on my own and found myself occasionally resting when i probably didnt need to. there are some gyms now that only cost 10 pound a month and you get all the classes for free. i have chosen this route and to be honets i work a lot harder when im at the gym than i would at home. probably a competitive thing0
