It does seem a fairly vital requirement if going to a fast moving auction :money:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Do we think it was all above board? It seemed a bit easy for that lady to open a 'pop up shop'... if she's inviting people in to buy goods from her home, surely she needs to have some H&S 'stuff' sorted?
Also, when I go to bootsales I expect to pay 50p not £3 for a used Next tshirt... I need to sell at her local bootie as I'd love her prices for things! If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -

The pop up shop was a good idea. I doubt it was in any way official though, just like 99% of the facebook sellers I see that have open days at weekends for people to go and browse their stock.
I don't like people coming into the house much , but I have put stuff at the end of my drive before now with an honesty box just to get rid of larger items- I've got stuff ready at the moment but the weather has been too bad- just huge vases and some DVDs , the stuff that doesn't really go at car boots and which I'll probably just charity shop.
as for £3 an item for clothes at a car boot- like you that would be nearer 20-50p a go at the ones I use. Canterbury ha a large student population though so perhaps they pay more for second hand clothes that are a little different and not readily available on the High STreet. There is alo currently no Primark in CanterburyI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The hearse couple were hilarious. DH and I said the auction would end badly and wondered how the hell you could bid on something without understanding how much it was even on.0
