  • Mr Bun sorry to hear what happened to your daughter. That's the worst timing. Hope she is ok this morning.
My daughter got up from bed crying last night, think the nerves hit her after being over excited all day. Made me really question why I'm putting her through all this. Good luck to everyone this morning x

Hi Trigger 151, hope ur daughter is feeling a bit better now that the first one is over. I have also questioned myself at times about putting my daughter through this. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
  • Well that's us back home after Paper 1... Apparently it was easy!:j I hope she thinks the same about the next two.

Yep, same here, daughter seems happy, so I'm happy.
  • Thanks Mrs Mum, yes my daughter is feeling much better now this first test is over. Just think she was full of tension and the wee cry last night actually helped. She felt the test wasn't too bad and was smiling when we went to pick her up. Hope everyone's kids got through it ok xx
  • Hi everyone my d and I are both very relieved to have the 1st one over. She said it was OK and nothing on it she hadn't done before which is good. She now has the GL one next week so no break for us😞
  • Trigger151 - sorry to hear your daughter was upset - that is so hard to deal with as a parent but its good that she went ahead and did the test and hopefully she'll be more settled for the next 2 papers :)

My son came out looking 'thoughtful'. He was in good form coming home in the car but he said there were some big words in one of the comprehensions that he'd never seen before (his 2 friends also said this) and he said there were some big numbers (which he knew) but he said they had hardly ever appeared in all the practice tests he had done. Overall though he seemed ok with it, but he didn't come out and say it was easy - which I thought he would. Also, he was finished with only about 1 minute to spare which is unusual as he often does practice papers in 45 mins however he said the English section with the big words had slowed him down a bit and then the final section of the paper (also English) was very long but at least he did finish the paper - phew!

Back to the grindstone tomorrow then for us - I'll give him a practice paper to do in the morning.
