Morning all, more positive vibes coming your way, Jackie O, lovely news about the baby N9eav, and hugs to all those that need them today for any other reason - including just wanting one!!
Well, today I have no clients booked in, so no excuse not to tackle some of this very stale housework and admin. I thought I would do one room at a time, and in between would tackle a pile of paperwork  Hopefully by the end of the week there will be a noticeable difference. Wish me luck!!
Made some flapjacks yesterday for packed lunches and did another batch of home-made yoghurt overnight. Dinner tonight is gammon egg and chips - the gammon that I put in the slow cooker yesterday with cherry coke was not ready for lunch yesterday, so will be good with egg and chips tonight.
OH has to have another cortisone injection in his shoulder this evening - he always has a huge grump on for a few days afterwards, so we are not looking forward to it. I always threaten that after these appointments he can go and sleep in the shed. One of these days I will follow the threat through!
I hope you all have a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Morning! :hello:
Just looking in to send (((Hugs))) and positive thoughts to JackieO. Looking forward to hearing about that celebration Jackie! We will all join in!
Still in a fair amount of pain with tooth (abcess) should it still hurt 1 week after root canal work begun
this is the point where I had the other tooth extracted but really don't want to have to go there again. Back at dentist tomorrow so fingers crossed it can be sorted. DH sore but seems a lot better now and off to work today.
Taplady - hope your tooth is sorted soon as well.
N9eav - congrats on the baby news!
Paperwork day today!
Have a lovely day if you can!

Morning everyone! My maternity leave has started and I have 2 weeks until The Big Day arrives so I want to rest but also get things in order (because heck knows OH won't manage in my absence!). Where better to start than OS with a cuppa?!
So far I've persuaded him to drag the chest freezer into the daylight so I can defrost it, and then chased him off to work with the promise of some baking and perhaps gammon for dinner (snap hypno06!). The kitchen is a bombsite (I have a bad habit recently of lying on the bed for a wee while after dinner and then not making it back downstairs for the rest of the night
) but hopefully I can get it tidied out before Mr Tesco arrives with my huge grocery order. I need to book the dogs into kennels so I can have a baby in peace, and I must go get them some bones from the butcher.
The sun is shining (after I spent all last week miserably drying laundry indoors  ) but I have a little left from yesterday to dry outside and it's a great opportunity to wash the throws and dog beds. The windows desperately need washed and I still have to finish cleaning out my work vehicle so plenty for me to be getting on with.
JackieO, sorry to hear you've not been so well but here's hoping your recovery is swift. This time last year my MIL underwent a mastectomy but she's finished almost all her treatments now and she's right as rain, so a positive attitude definitely helps

Hello everybody,
I've acutally got a bit done today.
Cleaned house out throughly. Anybody wants to visit we can now eat off the floors. Washed & got all the recyclying stuff sorted. This afternoon I spent in the kitchen baking. Two successes and one flop. Served with custard I'm sure nobody will be any the wiser.
Amie Your hedgehog talk was very interesting to read via pm. I didn't know you could eat them.
Bon appetite.
JackieO Hope all goes well at the Onclogist.
N9eav That is so freaky. I wonder if it was born 7 minutes past 7 as well.
Snowy How's the diet going?
I know it's been only one day, but I'm sure you've lost 1 lb already.
Kyle That's fab. Must be the hobnob diet.
Well better go and have a shower. I'm off to see my sister tomorrow. I leave here around 7am then ferry/bus/train/walk and I get there at 10.15am. We meet at a shopping centre for a cuppa. The destination favours her as her travelling time is shorter but I tell her as she's older than me I have to take that into consideration.
Hope you all have a lovely and productive day
as I have. Byeeeeeeee Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Bore Da,
very quick hello to all this morning as am going to hospital with OM - makes a change!! Almost slept in, making up for the over-early mornings.
DD came back with us yesterday as she has a concert round here tonight. She saw my pinny - photos later (I hope) and said
"you aren't going to be wearing THAT!"
Thought she new me better by now. Apparently it's old fashioned.
Shall cross her off the Christmas pinny list... if she's good!
Glad to see Jackie O, still praying!
