I'm sewing and watching catch up TV still. Just taking a quick break as my fingers are complaining and my throat feels sore so getting an ice-cream
I don't appear to be getting anywhere fast, but that could be because I chose to start the sewing with the biggest job to get that out the way
I think I need to teach DD how to sew in name labels
There's a chore for her tonight, to learn how to do it neatly. She's a whiz with a crochet hook but her sewing skills leave a lot to be desired for now!
Best get on. I'm just hoping she remembers to go to cookery to collect the pasta bake for today before she goes to choir practice, unless choir is cancelled again. :wave:vCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Sorted magazines and catalogues - ready to read and cull tonight - but some gone already.
Decided on our allowance for holiday clothes - will need a couple of smart- ish tops and don't usually need to do smart!
Paid a bill and asked about one.

Hello! Not really done anything yet although did get a bit ahead yesterday. Stopped en route home to print a couple of pics for DD homework. We can do that tonight and tomorrow. Also managed to get her a couple of tshirts from Primarni. Goodness knows what I'll be feeding them.
The trampoline buyer is supposed to be collecting tomorrow (fingers crossed) so have cleared with work to WFH. In doing so I managed to acquire another job, I'm a bit pushed for time really as I'll only be working 1 day next week, but it is the sort of thing I enjoy doing so I'll squeeze it in somewhere.
So want to set up my new office! Hope they come early and I can use my lunch hour getting organised!
Right. Must collect my children...Bossymoo

I've decided to go to bed really early, as in now, as opposed to my usual 10-11pm. I was feeling okay until we had DD's pasta bake now I'm really tired
My hands are sore from sewing (it was some tough material and pulling the thread through) and my tongue is hurting so I'm giving in. Hoping a good sleep, and a hot bath in the morning will make me feel better. I have a massive to do list, so I'm going to write DD's list for the morning (just reminders of stuff she needs to do before school) and then head off.

Well - a cat was let out of a bag by someone who was totally unaware that it was a secret to be kept, for now. Had to get someone in to (a) apply damage limitation and (b) ensure it was known it was not me who freed the cat.
And possibly even more carp/devious conniving going on.
I want out:(:mad:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Ooh Valli, hope it all works out.
I achieved quite a bit before the paid stuff today:
Changed our bedding
Dusted bedroom
Hoovered through house
Cut grass out back
Gym
Shower
Also, did four lots of washing during the day while I did the paid stuff, and took the dogs walking and Littleydog to groomer.
Tonight, I've cooked tea, washed up, popped to shops and walked dogs again and am now wasting time on here and eating crisps again.
So back in the gym it is in the morning.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Hi all
6 hours paid stuff done, cooked a roast dinner for tea, 1 load of washing hung out, brought in, folded and put away, kitchen and utility floors hoovered and washed. All surfaces in kitchen and utility swished but the utility really needs a more thorough going over.
DS2 needs a hard stare to make him get ready for bed then pots to dry and put away, dwasher to empty and refill.
Then its bed for me.
Valli, amazing how adults can behave like little kids at times eh? Hope it all resolves itself.
Oh and any tips for a huge mouth ulcer that is really bothering DS2?0
