Morning everyone. I'm going to tackle our bedroom first this morning as DD is hogging the bathroom and I can't face the kitchen yet.

    Have a great day everyone.

My patience with DS1 is being stretched to breaking point. He was offered a shift at work today but has not got out of bed. He owes money to me, DZh and his grandfather.

I was pleased when he got the shift because today is my day at home and I get wound up by his apathy and inactivity while I spin plates getting everything done. Now he is home for the day. He will distract DS2 from his home study day.

The garden umbrella is soaked. I asked DH to bring it in as I knew it would rain. He wound it down but left it in the table. Grrrr!

I have lots to do today. I need to visit the market, walk Coco, take 3 bags to the CS. Clean and disinfect the dogs bed and toys. Inside windows downstairs need cleaning and I must wash the hard floors.

After school we have dancing, cricket and 2 extra for tea. I'm not babysitting tonight but tomorrow. The extra money will be useful.

DD2 has a school trip today so I better sort her packed lunch.

I hope everyone has a good day .

Well, after a very busy day yesterday and having to collect DS2 from school poorly I am hoping today will be easier!

Paid stuff this morning, then some work on my voluntary job this aft (but not for much longer) and a bit of flying.

And yeah teenagers and inactivity. I can relate to that one.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Morning everyone - been awake reading - yes again! since 5:30. Now up and ready and done important banking and emails.

I found I had left my gardening shoes outside in the torrential rain last night so hope they dry for later as a neighbour has informed me whereabouts in my garden is the next door neighbour's cat's toilet - joy of joys for later.:eek:. She kicks it out because she's fed up of cleaning the litter tray so I have to do it! Don't get me wrong we are firm friends - so will find a way round this - after I've cleaned it up that is.

Off to get weighed soon - not been as good as I could have been this last week though. Only 4 weeks to hols proper so will have to get back into it.

This afternoon depending on the weather it will be HHC followed by HHC followed by HHtidy followed by HHC followed by HHC followed by .... until I am straight.

Will let you know when I begin and see if anyone wants to keep me company.

After my mammoth gardening sessions these past few days I am moving and walking as if I were 99!!

Have a good day everyone xx

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

I managed to get up, but functioning was difficult for the first HH :rotfl:DD has a whole load of fleas in her ear. I came down to find her sitting on the sofa watching TV instead of making breakfast/lunch/getting her cookery stuff together/ironing her uniform  I've now banned TV of a morning again (I will take the only scart cable out the TV if necessary, having a separate freeview box has its advantages ;) ) and if she doesn't do her chores tonight then I'm going to start deleting films on the DVR as well as docking pocket money  She got another flea for the fact that, apart from 1 T-shirt, every sewing repair I've done since Christmas has been an item of hers, and I've done a lot of sewing repairs! Going to write her out a chore list for when she gets home, since she's had no homework for a few nights what's the betting she gets some tonight!

    This week:
Tue: DD at choir, Pay CC
    Thur: Collect books, Vote

    Dailies:
    Beds TWThFSaSu
    Dishes M TWThFSaSu
    S&S kitchen TWThFSaSu
    Surveys etc MTWThFSaSu
    Evening meal TWThFSaSu

    Personal:
    Labels in uniform
    Belt loops on trousers
Sewing repairs (School bag & quilt cover)
    DD shoes
    Laundry
    Shredding
    Update personal accounts
    Work (Update Accounts, phonecall, paperwork)
    Clean bins out
Print calender for rest of the year

    Monday - Living room
    30 minutes to spare...
Hoover, including the sofa, what's lurking beneath the seat cushions
    Dust your electricals
    Got an hour...
    Wipe skirtings and picture rails
    Clean the windows
Do the 15 and 30 minute jobs too
    Extras
Catch up on phone calls/appointments - Avon

    Tuesday - kitchen
    Only got 15 minutes...

    sweep and mop the floor
    Put away 5 things
    30 minutes to spare...
    Wipe over your hob
    Clean your sink
    Wipe your work tops
    Got an hour...
    Wipe the window ledge
    Clean the windows
Do the 15 and 30 minute jobs too
    Extras
    HHI x4
    S&S the bathrooms
    Declutter your most cluttered drawer
Spend at least 15 minutes outside, not gardening just being - its raining heavily here so this will have to wait :p

Time to get my laptop out, and get that doing its updates/scans while I wash a batch of dishes, then I'll get on with the accounts & bill paying.

I hope your tum is OK today, piggers. Out of interest, how much is a professional oven clean?!

I need to get stuck into the ironing  It's ridiculous, the pile is stacked up against the sofa but it would topple without support. Wash basket is almost full too. I would throw in the towel but they're all dirty :(

"New" tv has been collected from MILs and installed in the girls' room, it's huge  I should have tried it in the boys room really as they're here almost all the time, but I really don't think they have space for it -- I sometimes wish DH would pack up his drumming career just so we could get rid of the electric drumkit in the boys' room [/selfishbintmoment]

Latest episode of Mad Men has been downloaded for tomorrow's consumption, favourites and emails cleared out, I can't think of anything else I need to do on my lappy so I guess I just need to suck it up and get the board out. I [STRIKE]may[/STRIKE] WILL be some time...
