Last year word got out (why it all has to be hush hush I don't know but...) anyway, I was fairly certain I was under suspicion as the blabber - then a parent asked me a question and told me she knew what was planned as her husband, a Governor, had told her...and him an Inspector (of schools - begins with 'O') too!

My current mantra is 'I can't say anything about that!'
Sometimes I have to repeat it and repeat it!

Yikes valli it will soon be the holidays

Well. I have just had a phone call at 10pm from the blimmin eBay buyer asking what buses come past my house!!!

    TO COLLECT A TRAMPOLINE

OMFG. You just know this will all end in tears. Probably mine. OMFG.

I asked if they understood what they had bought, it is not going on a bus (well unless they have their own bus!) - and I suggested she didn't come alone for it. She asked if it would fit in a car  surely that would depend on the size of the car, and what else was in it? The dimensions were clearly stated on the ad.

I don't think she has a blinkin clue what she's bought.

Pretty certain I will still have the darned thing this time tomorrow.

    Drat and double drat.

Sorry Bossy but the thought of your ebay buyer trying to manhandle a trampoline onto a bus has brought a smile to my face - well I'm giggling tbh

And possibly even more carp/devious conniving going on.

    I want out:(

It will come. The light at the end of term is not a mirage.

Bossy I'm sorry to say that from the first failed sale, the saga of the trampoline has been one of those stories that had the possibility that it would just run and run. No matter how lovely it is, there are things that just attract people whose grasp on reality is a tad tenuous - am I allowed to say that? I'm only saying it because so far you have a hit rate of 2 out of 2.

Whose babies are these? Are congratulations in order?

Yet again today has been spent tidying, picking up the pieces and putting what's left of them somewhere sensible, sorting paperwork and ditching stuff.
    Better is good enough.

Hehe, I did the master bedroom yesterday! But I may sort a drawer later. But first S&S bathroom, gym, shower, dog walking and hoovering downstairs. Last day at the paid stuff today before a week off. Yayy.....

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning all - reading again - but had breakfast. This is getting to be a bad habit!

What kind of babies are you both expecting Pigpen and Dusty - I am intrigued!
Lots of stuff to do today before out for cup of tea at lunch and vol job 2 this pm followed by dinner with D sis etc - not very SW but hey ho!

Hoping to carry on with paperwork declutter today and perhaps get bathroom done. Not looked on the thread lists but having to head off on my own a little just to clear the most important stuff.

Hugs sticks and spoons to everyone in need - especially Valli and Bossy.
