Bossy I'm sorry to say that from the first failed sale, the saga of the trampoline has been one of those stories that had the possibility that it would just run and run. No matter how lovely it is, there are things that just attract people whose grasp on reality is a tad tenuous - am I allowed to say that? I'm only saying it because so far you have a hit rate of 2 out of 2.

You are quite right of course, which is exactly the reason we won't be getting an even bigger one. I do take your point exactly ;)

Right. I'll get on with paid stuff and await the call to say they're not coming :p

Didn't really achieve anything yesterday due to a cluster-feeding and very clingy baby so could do with a productive morning before going for a long walk and having people over this afternoon. Problem is, I know they're going to want a wee nosy in *every* room as we've moved house and they want to explore  Thankfully it's not too bad, but it's in no danger of being mistaken for a show home either ;)

Very much looking forward to hearing the conclusion of the trampoline saga! Hope everyone's well, have some sticks and spoons as needed :)

    Morning all. :D

Feeling much better today, except for my tongue & throat. I think I might be getting another throat infection so hot toddys for me today instead of coffee ;) I've woken up in a "get it done" mood, but going to make sure I go easy. Thank goodness next week is half term with no plans (except DD wants her friend to come round at some point) so I can switch the alarm off for a few days.

Valli - hope things improve :(

Bossy - hope the trampoline goes today. I have a vision of the chuckle brothers trying to get one on a bus now :rotfl::rotfl:

WM is currently on a cleaning wash as I did the cleaning cloths in it yesterday. I even cleaned out the drawer on it as DD was watching something I can't stand ;) Going to do my accounts, pay bills etc now the laptop has finished doing its scans. If I leave it alone it only takes it 30mins for a whole computer scan, if I try to do stuff on it the scan can take hours! So HHC on the computer it is then!

    Good morning all.
I have been missing for a few weeks. After DH redundancy he decided to go self employed, I really think it's a bad idea, it is something he has wanted to do for a long time but never had the funds. It has made me really ill, with worry and everything else our house has been hit like an explosion, so I'm back here to get it sorted. I'm also looking for work with a more regular income now but no idea where to start as I have been a SAHM for 10 years. I've spent loads of time helping DH too, if he's determined to do it, I need to do everything I possibly can to help him. (I probably sound really mean but it has made me so so ill).

I have also been looking after my nephews while my sister has gone back to work, my youngest is 5 in a month and it's amazing how quickly you forget how much hard work an 11 month old and 2 year old can be. Yesterday I went to make the oldest a drink and youngest pulled himself up on our big wooden dining chairs, huge thud and blood everywhere! Had to call sis out of work. He is fine though. So house has been left for a good few weeks.

Off to print out this weeks lists and make a start. Will hopefully update later x

Hoorah for trampoline success! I've had quite a productive morning considering how clingy Noo has been - stuck her in the sling and cracked on :rotfl: She's napping now so I'm going to brave having a shower, fancy!

I am still here, plodding along. I'm feeling very down today, lots of things on my mind so I'm trying to keep busy even though I don't feel like it.
I went food shopping on my own today (a big thing for me when I'm having a bad time). Our Mr T's is having a refit so everything is everywhere  it's a nightmare but I stuck 99% to my list and was in and out fairly quick.
I cleaned my fridge  before putting the shopping away, even the dog looked shocked at this :rotfl:
I'm just going to hang out some washing, the throws off the girls beds, they're not exactly dirty just covered in cat hair. I hope the weather holds so they dry as they can't be tumbled.
I put the DW on a cleaning wash, why I didn't do it before I went shopping I do not know
I might knock up some buns for the drama group this evening if I have time . . .
First washing, then a coffee and sandwich, then much neglected bathroom floor :o then the washing bins can go back in . . .

I've been pretty productive this morning but because its all on the computer it looks like I've done nothing :( My personal & work accounts took much longer than I thought to update, but at least I now how much money I've not got :rotfl:

Going to have lunch and then I'm going to go and have a quick bath then hang washing out. I thought the kitchen was quiet, turns out I forgot to switch the washing machine on so that's 2 hours wasted when it could have been washing stuff :o
