Good morning. Pouring with rain here, typical on my first day off the paid stuff. Never mind, umbrellas have been invented and the weeding can wait. Just pottering on here waiting for DD to leave so the bathroom is free to use.

    Morning all :)

Bossy - Glad to hear the trampoline went. :D

Its paid stuff today and I'm out collecting books this morning and again this evening. Typically its raining, so I'm going to get my bits together and go out to collect them. I also need to make that phonecall today so I can update my customer this evening when I see her :o

This afternoon I'm going to take a wander down to Mr Al while I'm out voting as the polling station is on the same block. Going to buy some new flowers. The roses I got delivered from Mr A are turning brown already and are no where near the quality of the ones I got for Easter from my parents (bought in Mr S) so I'm going to go back to old faithful Mr Al ones. They always seem to last ages :) Might get some snack bits as well so DD & I can have a movie day on Sunday since she had the last bag of popcorn last night.

Already had the drier on with some damp stuff from yesterday, tided up the livingroom, DD is now clearing up her own mess in the kitchen each morning so things are looking better than normal at this stage in the week :rotfl:

If its gone its done or not applicable.

    This week:
    Thur: Collect books, Vote
    Fri: School books, work 6pm

    Dailies:
    Beds Th FSaSu
    Dishes Th FSaSu
    S&S kitchen Th FSaSu
    Surveys etc MTWThFSaSu
Evening meal Th FSaSu Something in the slowcooker today seeing as its damp and it needs to be ready for 5pm. I'll forget otherwise!

    Personal:
Labels in uniform - going to have to be a weekend job.
Belt loops on trousers - 1 pair done, another I have the loops, but I need to make a couple of smaller ones to go on the front so thats the old pair being cut up again!
Sewing repairs (School bag & quilt cover)
    DD shoes
Laundry daily thing in here atm it seems!
    Shredding
    Work ( phonecall, paperwork)
    Clean bins out
Print calender for rest of the year
Sort out shopping list for DIY shop so I can start the decorating!

I had a nightmare evening. Bare with me this is going to be a long post and it's the short version. DD2 has a friend with "issues". She lives with her dad as her mum is a druggie & drinker. Both the girl and her mum have both tried killing themselves in the past. The girl has also run away twice.
I DIDN'T KNOW ANY OF THIS 'TIL LAST NIGHT!
The girl was out with DD2 but was refusing to go home at the time agreed with her dad. I then get a call from her dad asking if I could get them back to mine and he'd come and collect her. I did this but then have the girl saying she wasn't going home (other stuff was obviously also said), the dad then turned up. She still refuses to go with him. So then I have him using my phone trying to get hold of the girl's social worker/ social services.
Finally at about 10pm (this all started at 7pm  ) social services turn up. So I have one talking to the girl in my front room and one talking to the dad in my very messy :o kitchen. By then myself and DD2 are hiding upstairs where DD1 and her boyfriend had been hiding since 7pm (he'd only nipped round to see her quickly  )
The girl then storms out of the house (we're all watching from the bedroom window to see which way she'd gone)
By about 11pm the dad and social services finally leave after getting as many phone numbers and info out of DD2 as possible.
At 11.45 DD2 get's a message from the girl so I then have to phone the dad to tell him.
12.30 we are all finally in bed  DD1's boyfriend wasn't even going to stay but I obviously couldn't get him home and it bucketing it down outside (some roads in our area were flooded)

So this morning we're all grumpy and tired. DD2 I think is in shock. She really did try talking to her friend last night and was very grown up about everything but she knows that we will be having a serious talk tonight especially after some of the stuff I found out last night

I now feel like a zombie, this has done nothing to help my own mental state, I'm very tired and I had to let my friend down with help at drama.
So only light fluttering for me this morning cos I really don't feel like anything more :(

    Morning All

Well I have a day to myself although I've got to go to the dentist this afternoon so really just the morning. I'd planned on getting all the washing done so of course it's raining. Lots of jobs to do but at the moment I'm sitting here chilling and watching tv - I've got all next week to do jobs - it's not very often I get childfree time although I've also got a childfree weekend as DH is taking the kids to Blackpool for the weekend while I stay at home with the dog.

So I might move in a bit and do something.

    Have a good day all

Oh my goodness Wendy, what an awful night. Hope today brings a lot less stress and a good night's sleep tonight. How sad for DD's friend too, hope this incident means she gets some more help and a bit more stability in her life.

The drama llama has been visiting here too so I'm a little distracted today as well. I'm not going to get into it too much, but DH has been doing something he promised not to, something I told him was a dealbreaker now we have bubbs. I found out last night and didn't say anything except that I was disappointed and wouldn't talk about it in front of Noo. He's now left early for work so we haven't had a chance to talk about it properly (typically Noo had a terrible night last night so ended up in bed with us - which she promptly then pee'd all over *sigh*) I'm overthinking things today and need to come up with a plan for when he gets home so I can stay calm - am determined that Noo isn't going to hear us argue.

Oh, and he's working late tonight and I have the NCT ladies over this afternoon (who I definitely can't talk to about this)... It's a good job Bubbs is cheering me up with lots of smiles and cuddles - it's overthinking central here.

Dot being a little $h!tbag today.. lol.. she is trying to feed OH a bogie while he is eating breakfast.. but other things are less funny, pulling Pixies hair and hurting her for example!

I have someone coming to HOPEFULLY buy a pushchair at 10:30.. selling vibes very much appreciated!! I really need to gone it is huge and hogging space.

Piddling with rain so 2 idiot children gone out with just a fleece jacket.. they know best so I am allowing them to learn from their mistakes.. they are 15 and 13 not littlies so old enough to learn!

DD2 at hospital at 11 so OH is taking her.. its only a 5 minute thing so she will be fine she says.

Finishing my cuppa then going to do some flinging! I need to pop to wool shop and taking DS2 to vote for the first time.

Oh glee... she wants todays first screening of Frozen.. I hate that film!

Bossy.. that sounds like a lovely find in your pencil case.. I'd put it somewhere safe.. xxx
