Well done bossy and Miss Moo :T
    Lovely photo, LW :T
Hope Pixie isn't sickening for something, pigpen

(((Hugs))) and spoons to all who have struggled today.

I had a dreadful start to the day after a night of very little sleep, but I managed to hold out until 4.00 pm before crashing out for an hour and a half.

    Today I have
    - tidied round
    - done my expenses claim (at 3.00 am  )
    - filed almost all of the papers that were on the bed in the study bedroom
    - made a decision at last and ordered a new phone
    - persuaded DH to start oiling the decking, even though he had to stop when it began pouring with rain (but my garden is happy and the water butts are full again :) )
    - fielded and wrote more emails about the U3A canal group
    - voted
    - called in at the hairdresser's, grovelled and apologised about missing my appointment a fortnight ago; was very kindly given a new one for next week :o
    - prepared lunch and tea (Cajun chicken and chips :D ) and imbibed numerous :coffee:
    - having found the instructions while doing the filing, persuaded DH to repair the hedge trimmer himself (he cut through the cable yesterday  ) for nowt rather than take it to the repair shop for £££££
    - sent a letter to the people who live in our old house asking them to forward any mail for us, using the enclosed printed address labels and book of stamps (total cost less than £7), rather than pay at least £30 to renew the mail redirection service :money:
    - decluttered some photos of the old monuments in a church that I used to attend years ago to the local archives, rather than bin them
    - sent postcards to DGS1+2 with active kids vouchers
    - sent a postcard with hugs to my goddaughter, just because she's special

Not much flying form the list, but - all things considered - a great achievement.

I'm sat in the garage :D

It's very nice in here. Have set up my printer today (needs black ink but have refilled the colour cartridges. What i really need is a small box or table to pop under the desk rather than printer on top. Sure I must have something somewhere... But, I have a comfy tub chair, a rug and am sat next to my new desk. Peaceful. Writing a list for camping. Umbrellas, I think ;)

Have a meeting with council and environmental health at 9am. Need to take DD :o she will be fine though, I'll take her some snacks and a busy bag. I do think there will be a few people there. But it can't be helped. Inlaws are on polling duty until 10pm tonight so I couldn't take her there, and we won't have time in the morning, unless I get them up at about 5am to get us back in time for DS to his friends (who he's walking to school with) and me up to the town hall. Mum will be doing her own school run, and said friend is going straight to work after taking the boys. So she will just have to come with me. Ah well.

Just having a cuppa then might do a hhc - need to mop the floors, DS knocked chocolate crusha syrup everywhere this morning and we are sticking to the floors! Steam mop here I come :T

    Only got 15 minutes...
    Clean the bath/shower and sink
    Clean the toilet
    30 minutes to spare...
Wipe all dusty surfaces (on top of the bathroom cabinet)
    Polish mirrors
    Replace towels with fresh ones
    Got an hour...
    Wash the floor
    Wipe the tiles down
Sort out any 'products' not being used and either use them or bin them
    Extras
Have some me time - you're worth it

Hello everyone, I hope we are well :)

Not a great deal done today as I was at my sisters helping her get organise and pack before her move to her new house.

When I got home I did tea and then I started to iron, 2.5 hours later and I am finished. I NEED to clean the bathroom but I cba so it might end up being a job for the morning. I am going to delete ironing off my list I posted yesterday and have a read back.

I steam mopped myself into a corner :p so had a sit down. But I did sort my home insurance :A my renewal was way too high, so I've looked around and got more cover for about £100 less plus £35 cash back on quidco :money: hooray.

Just need to ring current insurer to tell them not to autorenew...

Right. Will sort a few bits for DD bag for morning then shower and bed for me <yawn>

    Night all x

Washing, WU, Ald! run, washing and more washing. A bit of paid stuff with DS2 in tow at my customer's suggestion, she was happy and he was golden :A Home, more washing, three different dinners done, one in the bin as DSD has not appeared yet  Piles more WU, boys showered, DH and DSS are watching tripe in the lounge. Just about to fling my boys into bed and collapse in a heap.

Tomorrow, 5 hours paid stuff, visiting the vampires, collecting DSs and dropping them off at Worcester around 5.30, will be very lucky to be home by 7 by recent M5 standards.

My skids are at KH's til Tuesday, I am NOT DOING ANYTHING on Saturday. Not a bleedin' thing. Tired of feeling tired!

Blah blah :) N'night all
