Works lappy has just had a hissy fit so instead of ringing the IT helpline I shall... Shut down and restart! Lol. So though I'd come see you lot whilst I'm waiting.

I have, between bit of work, hung out DDs bedding on the whirligig and cooked a pan full of chilli and a load of rice. Kids can have some for tea and it will see me through lunches too for a few days.

Is still bright and warm here, my forecast keeps saying storms but it's not looking likely.

I need to write a shopping list and do DD homework with her. That will involve us picking a few photos out of her and I need to get a more recent one printed too. They want a timeline as this terms theme is living and growing. I just know DD will want a pic of DH on there too, well they might just have to deal with that, however uncomfortable it is :(

Right, am going to stir my chilli and text MIL to tell her DS is not allowed treats today (little monkey)

    Thanks for the company ladies, how did you get on? This is what I did;

Monday - Living room and downstairs Loo
    [STRIKE]S&S the sink and toilet
Hoover, including the sofa, what's lurking beneath the seat cushions
    Dust your electricals
Bash your cushions and shake your rugs (outside)
    Wipe skirtings and picture rails
Washed throws and cushion covers and pegged out on line.
    [/STRIKE]

Had a phone call to do some more delivery notes for work so I'm pleased with that. :D

emptied 2 boxes of crap from back room, put 2 things aside for CS and an empty box out for the bin
sorted the next 2 loads to go in washers
attacked a stain on a dress.. how in gods name do you get a chocolate cake stain out of cream cotton???? I've tried oxy, washing up liquid, vanish, 60' wash.. soaked it in bio powder.. its not shifting!!

going to put lunch in for these 2.. might do them a picnic actually.. and then get the next lot of washing done,

Dye it another colour? Other than that I have no idea, you've used my entire arsenal.

I'll join you again, I'll attack the back room I think(?) after lunch though.

I overran slightly but that's mainly because DH text me to say he is coming home early tonight so we had a wee blether :)

    Bathroom:
Took down the shower curtains, they're soaking in a bucket of bleachy water now
Scrubbed the bath, found a lot of black grot when I rinsed the taps, I honestly dunno where it's come from (taps are never used because we're on a water meter so baths are banned here :p) but it was minging _pale_
Scrubbed the basin and the cupboard under it
    Scrubbed the loo
    Wiped the skirting boards
    Mopped the floor
Emptied the dehumidifier down the loo
Remopped the floor where I spilled :o
    Then I...
Emptied the airer, sorted the ironing from the non-ironing
    Refilled the airer
Played hunt-the-protective-pad-from-DH's-cricket-helmet -- it was hiding in the door seal of the WM
Swept the kitchen floor and put half the table away
Oh, and I bleached the grout on the tiles behind the hob as it was pretty horrible

PHEW! I am now on my lappy in my bedroom because every time I go into the lounge, the ironing pile just glares at me.

    Still to do today:
    HHI
Wash the bleached shower curtains and rehang
Walk of Shame to the bottle bank
Take DS1 to the docs after school
Print off DS2's pictures of India for his school project
Ring the pension people -- this is becoming a cane toad, I just need to get on with it!
Pay my credit card bill, full of Barcelona spends
    and if I have time;
take the old TV out of the girl's room in preparation for the arrival of their new one. Not looking forward to this job as it involves picking my way through all of DSD's rubbish to get to the drawers.

ETA: I think it toook me almost as long to type that up as it did to do the jobs in the first place :rotfl:

ETA Again!: Pigpen, have you got any Elbow Grease? It's excellent at removing greasy stains, it might be worth a punt? Other than that I would probably just try hanging it out in bright sunshine for a while, see if the sun will fade it.

I'm finally home! I managed to get the bits DD2 needs for cooking classes this week and my mum also gave me a large box of eggs and a packet of cheese & onion sausage rolls, she can't resist the 2 for's so I always get the extras :o
I'm going to hang with washing out and then find something to munch :)

I'm in as much as I can manage again this week.:o

So far today, I've washed and hung out 3 pairs of jeans and 3 t-shirts, taken Daisy for a walk, given her some brekkie, made a loaf in the BM, done a tonne of washing up, decluttered a large pile of various recycling to the pink sack in the shed, spent a while throwing Daisy's ball for her in the garden, and done HHWiiFit while I felt able to do it.:D

I have a new camera - my old one was putting strange lines on the photos; it started doing that a month or so ago, and it's getting worse, so Mr LW took me to the S0ny shop on Saturday for a new one for my birthday.
I should mention, my birthday was back in April, but my habit is to take a "raincheck" til I identify something I really need/want.:o I take obscene numbers of picture of the dogs, of course; and I reckon I average 600 photos when we go on our annual holiday.:o

Just having a spot of lunch (while I remember!!) and will have a look at my emails, then it'll be time to take Daisy for another walk.
This fine weather, she spends most of the day out in the garden, but she still enjoys being taken out for an actual walk.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
