Just made fish pie for dinner. One for tonight and one for the freezer.
I had some potatoes left over so I googled what to do with them. I turned them into cream of potato soup! I had a little bit of cheese sauce left so I bunged that in too. All I needed to add was an onion, stock and 100ml of milk! Managed to make 6 portions and my geeky side worked out the calorie content. 80 calories per portion. That's lunches sorted for the next couple of days and some for the freezer!Grocery challenge-

£2.50 spent today on milka and cookie cones from M*rrisons ... saw they were on offer on HUKD so sent DD. She managed to get the Milka, but they had no Cornettos so instead of just the Milka, she got the M*rrisons version.
Also, got shopping delivered from Tesc* which came to £42.59 altogether.Hope I can last the eleven days until the end of the month.

Just sorted out tomorrow's Mr T delivery. Guide price is £25.20, which leaves £27.80 for the rest of the month (one week shop) plus a £5 voucher I have for C*-*p (no minimum spend). That's do-able!!
Shopping arrived, and it was £25.92. That would leave £27.08 for next week.......but......I received and email today from mr T offering me £20 off my next shop of £40 or more. Aiming to order £45 worth of things (lots of toilet paper, meat etc) and then pay the £25 I initially intended on. Woohoo! Also still got the £5 c*-*p voucher to use :jSCS Carpets 0% finance: [STRIKE]£1331.84[/STRIKE] £132.90

Hiya everyone and welcome new peoples and returners :hello:
Spent £4.84 yesterday at Al*i on mainly packed lunch stuff for the week and milk, so still well within budget for the month with nearly £70 and only 11 days to go. However, hoping there is f & v tokens in S on Thursday for Morrys so can get extra and get some soup in the freezer - looking ahead for the winter
Had a yummy dinner with a mix of black pudding, chestnut mushrooms, baked beans, egg and cooked tomatoes.
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Morning - have lost it somewhat this month as we were staying at DS' for a week so some spends went on c/card and lots of meals out - but different budget.
Will try and update cash spends on signature later - but have lots of main meals in freezer - enough to last until payday next Friday. This week's shop at Mr A was under £10 with a small shop at mr M yesterday of £6.60. Still have £30 in the housekeeping account - which is easier to manage as it is now separate from other bills and savings.
I will sort these finances by the end of the month!!!!July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200

Morning all, I have an expensive weekend coming up (attending a wedding) which I have known about for ages but haven't set money aside for. Will need to take some money out of my credit union account I think.
Food wise I have enough in the fridge/freezer to have meals for the next few days until OHs payday (Monday 25th). Dinner tonight will be Stovies - great comfort food as the weather is getting colder here.0 -
Can I join in, even though I do a weekly shop please?:starmod: Connor Dean 03/12/08 :starmod:
