I'm the same. I also like to see what I'm buying when it comes to any fresh foods, not just fruit and veg. When I see the colour of some of the meats in the SM it really puts me off!
I don't go shopping quite as often as you but I do go twice a week so that we have fresh fruit regularly. Have to admit to not buying much fresh veg as unless I want something specific at the time I go shopping I don't really know what veg I'm going to be using so tend to stick to mainly frozen, apart from the few things I grow in my very small patch. Courgettes are doing amazingly well at the moment - picked some last night and gave to my friend as we've got too many to eat at the moment. It's a pity they don't freeze well.

Have a batch of receipts from the past week and totalling them up it comes to £46.83. Half of which is OH buying snacks, and ice cream for himself. He maybe getting the MSE message tho, he came home with some YS stuff - shame it was beer and only 14p reduction per bottle!
£133.17/£180 left for rest of the month. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
I'm sure I can be doing better with this!! I do have it in my head that I have to spend £40 in Mr M's in order to get the £15 off voucher, so I have bought extras like a giant Greek watermelon to bump the total up - totally going against the ethos of the grocery challenge!
£53.05 spent today (bumped the total up a little too much!) added together with last weeks is a total of £101.67 out of £300. I can't seem to edit my signature, it's saying something about no links allowed (even though I have no links in the sig).DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

Hi everyone,
Budgets list updated to here
Welcome/welcome back to:
prophecy-girl, Saver-upper, jo101 and mobo1980
We have about £100 left in the budget until we go away on 16th. Given that 10 days of this month's budget we will be away on holiday (different budget) that is slightly shocking!
Have a good day all.

Feel for you Hun, I don't do these vouchers now as never spend enough, but when I did I took my calculator with me, saved me many a time. Also if I was struggling to make it up I bought usually looked for an offer on washing up liquid shampoo etc that would keep for yonks,Slimming World at target0 -
I went for a top-up shop this morning.I am trying not to buy too much because we are going away on Saturday for a week.
Anyway,I spent £17.35 in all,but only £5.35 in cash:£12 was in clubcard vouchers.Soooooo,I was wondering:have I spent £5.35 of my budget,or £17.35.How would you count it?Answers on a postcard please
Edit; after thinking about it for a few hours,I am going to count only the cash spent, because that is all that has been taken out of my grocery budget. So,this month on groceries,I have spent £25.53/£300.To be fair,it really has only been topping-up.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Have just phoned my local Morrisons to ask about the rumours that there is to be a £5 off fruit and veg voucher in tomorrows Sun.
They confirmed this is true £5.0 off fruit and veg, no minimum spend
and valid to the 10th.
£5 free fruit and veg should help the budgets.Slimming World at target0 -
Spent £9.12 today on groceries including £6 on a bottle of Nola (Vodka Spritzer), which I had to try
Need to write a menu for the rest of the week and a shopping list and get back into the game properly I've been a bit rubbish with my menu planning! I know I have to use up sour cream so if I have beef it's beef stroganoff and if I don't it's mushroom stroganoff tomorrow.
Any suggestions for using up courgette for someone who is sometimes adventurous and someone else who only likes to eat it if it's hidden? I have some in my fridge and more coming Friday argh!!!Stay at home Mum to DS Oct 2011 and DD Dec 2013
