£11.69 spent since last time I reported in.
DD needed sanitary items. I've also picked up milk and YS bread, and £5.94 was spent today on £10 ish of fresh fish and a tub of coleslaw.

    Definitely over now.
Declaring at approximately £320, as missing one receipt.
    Off to August.
    Good luck all.

I am finishing July on 249.66/250. So 34p under budget!
Had a top up shop earlier in the week on a couple of bits and them did the weekly shop yesterday. £45.65 and had the £5 voucher so £40.65. The cupboard under the stairs is rammed with cereal, cat food and washing products!
Took mum into morrisons today with two vouchers so spent £16 in 6x 500g mince, chicken, gammon steaks, burgers, 40 packs of crisps, cereal bars and rice cakes. None of this was needed and only got it today as we are away tomorrow until Sunday and didn't want to miss out on £10 worth of vouchers. So going to put it on August budget!

  • Hi all, some great results this month. Not so great for us £445, so £45 over but we have been taking sandwiches and packed lunches so saving in other places. I have also started weight watchers so buying things for that.

Here's hoping to a more successful month in August, we have extra washing powder and nappies that I bulk bought last month so hopefully a small saving there.
    June GC Budget - 310/400 :)
    July GC Budget - 445/400

I'm still here...! Soon to move over to August though :D

Quite pleased with myself this week, found the sainsbobs offer of £20 off a £60 spend for new customers :j so stocked up on washing powder as it was on offer :T having managed 6 NSD's last week, I've totally fell off the wagon this week and managed 1 :o:o:eek:

Anyway moving swiftly on... A £7.42 spend in the c00p and the £46.07 in sainsbobs means I'm off to add 53.49 to my signature :D

Declaring today £375.41/£400 I think next month I shall include any treats/coffees/lunches I buy for myself out of GC budget, I wasn't including them as they weren't groceries but as everything comes out of the same bank account I now need to stay on top of things. Officially finished at work and now a SAHM!

Only a month late, but I've finally sat down to update my accounts with spends since 21st July !!!!

I've lost one receipt I need in order to find what I spent in total over the month (was a cash purchase), but it doesn't have any impact on my grocery budget - and I think I've got all other receipts which means food is all accounted for.

I've managed to come in at £228.70 from a budget of £290.69 :T I'm actually surprised I came in so low, as after breaking my wrist on 7th July I ended up having to buy ready meals for a couple of weeks rather than being able to use food that was in the house. I also had to cater for a weekend with 3 junior visitors, and started stocking up on bits for taking the same 3 away early August. But OH paid for a couple of food boxes we had for our holiday in July, so that saved my grocery budget a bit there ;)

It is over my unofficial budget of £193.79 though (two-thirds my official budget, which I use to try and force myself to use up stuff from the house - something I couldn't actually do with an arm out of action)
