I went over by £14 buying a replacement iron for the one that went pop.

Oh well. Managed to save in other spending areas, so my overall budget this month was met. :T

Update to budget £333.86 currently. Messed up a bit as I thought I got paid this Thurs but it's next Thurs so will have to take money out of a different pot - will continue with GC though. I need to get menu planning again haven't done properly in a few weeks.

Haven't posted in a while, as I have been ill... not sure how the budget went for July in the end, as DH took over whilst I wasn't able... I will assume we were a little over the £200 budget, but still much better than the £400+ we were spending, so no biggie ;)

Going to head over to the August thread and get ready for payday on Thursday, see you all there :D

Just spent £42.28 at Asd* online.
Also, £1.55 in M*rrisons on YS bits.
Bought some bits at Asda yesterday also but don't know her the receipt is ...so my total is £299.35.However, my actual total is probably about £8.00 over. I am happy with
this though as the kids are eating me out of house and home.

    Hiya - ty a million for that K9 :T

Had a spend of £14.53 today for f & v, milk and pack-ups for the week so should come in under budget fingers xd :D I'm here until the very end as my months are calendar ones.

Had a tasty tea today with HM baked chilli wraps with a large avocado salad on the side. (No garlic bread as must try to lose a bit of this weight I seem to have 'acquired' since I stopped smoking :rotfl: )

Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday

Good morning, reporting a spend of £220 for the month of July. £20 overspend but had a few extras this last week, grandchildren stayed for 4 days so a few treats bought and a few happy grandkids, priceless. Looking forward to August where I hope I will come in on target. Not had many NSds this month, but on the other hand my freezers are quite healthy and will be even healthier after Thursdays Sun with Morrisons meat vouchers. Im going to buy 6 Suns and stock up so that should see us through meat for the next month. Off to update siggy...

I'm not happy, I've gone over my budget for July  Thought I had £30 rather than £25 to spend this week. August budget doesn't start till Monday, so I'm probably going to go over a bit more by then!! C'est la vie!!

£5.40 spent today in local shop. Have stuck to the meal plan up till today but don't fancy cheese & potato pie tonight so having either egg, beans or tomatoes on toast.
Had to throw one plum, 1 peach and a banana away yesterday
Will be shopping on Thursday but am going to come under budget again this month, that will be 7/7 :j
Have moved things around in the freezer to make room for meat I must remember to pick up some copies of the sun on Thurs as only ever buy a paper on Sat and then its not the sun.
Got given a few small potatoes yesterday from a neighbour who's hubby was taken into hospital and we have run her up and down for a couple of days bless her. She's elderly and would never manage on a bus and taxi fare would be around £30 each way  Her son has come now to stop until Sunday so he will see to things.
