Got sent home from work early tonight, so what i saved on taxi fare i used to pay for some YS goodies in the Co-op ... lots of bread, brioche and a few cakes, Sunbites on offer (my faves at the mo), and fruit reduced in M*rrisons, which was then further discounted by a £1 for the fruit offer that's currently running. Plus, water and full price fruit.

    Total £7.98

Bmma - well done a good under spend.

Am like one or two on here and trying to decide what to get if I manage to pick up some of the vouchers for meat next week - am thinking rump steak, lamb chops and then maybe pork loin or similar.
Think it will be a case of going there first instead of last when we go shopping.

Spent just £4.41 today as didn’t need potatoes in the end.
Brought some spinach the other day and cooked with it today (if you can call wilting spinach cooking it)

I did spinach, tomatoes on the vine, mushrooms and poached egg on toast with chives scattered over the top. It was delicious and will be having it again.

  • Now had a small over spend but not being harsh ln myself, the cupboards and fridge are fit to burst and it is only a very small overspend considering i wont need to shop till next week which will be August anyhows.

Spent 9.74 in Iceland and £32.86 in Morries, which included special ingrediants for OHs cooking next weekend :p. I pick ingrediants and the dish he cooks, i supervise = yummy dinner and he learns some more cooking skills plus we get to spend some giggles togethor :p

Not doing a final declare yet tho as not the 31st till Thurday.:o
