Been AWOL as had a really busy weekend and a busy week. A mad weekend planned but just giving myself 5 mins to update.
Thursday went to aldi to use the voucher. Got a bit carried away and spent £62.64 (after the voucher!) did get a massive box of washing powder, 6 chicken breasts, mince, two lots of prepacked ham and cat food. (None of which were needed but ready for the following week!)
Popped into tesco yesterday as I had to pick something up and ended up spending £4 on a couple of bits. Somebody threw my anti-bacterial sprayer out and I normally refill so had to buy another one! Grrr!
Mum gave me the f and v voucher out of the sun so popping in today. Don't really need anything but it is too good to miss so will stock up on fruit and veg for the week. Spends are a bit high for beginning of the month but hopefully next weeks will be a low week!!Grocery challenge-

Hi everyone! It must be the month for returnees as I have decided to rejoin the grocery challenge
i looked for my last subscription and it was June 2011 :eek:
There is me, my OH and DS13 as well as 3 dogs in the household and my month is a bit strange as will run from 6th July to 5th of August... My budget is a complete guess as I have totally lost track of spending but as I am the only earner I need to organise more! OH is vegetarian but has an enormous appetite  but we have a large polytunnel full of veggies growing at the moment so should benefit from these soon!
My budget will include dog food, human food and all toiletries as during the summer months I don't have time to break these down further due to very long working hours as I work for a large scale fruit grower that supplies the supermarkets... But as a bonus I get as many strawberries, raspberries and cherries I can eat(and a quiet winter!!). i am therefore going to declare a budget of £450 Diesel will be a separate budget...
Already I am going to post spends of:
£11.50 c00p
Circa £95 a5da online will update tomorrow when exact total known
£102.78  m0nster pet supplies for dog food (this will be for 2 months though as they had doubled the cashback on purchases until tomorrow so saved £8.80) will only count £51.39 this month
So already a grand total of £157.89 (give or take some pence)
Off to update siggy now0 -
Hi all,
Budgets list updated to here
Welcome/welcome back to:
poolie purse strings, parsniphead, zafiro1984, Lemonbee, Ryuu, mrssnowy and bexs.ua
Good luck all.
Had a couple of small Waitrose top up shops this week - mainly due to having to collect a John Lewis parcel which turned out to be faulty, then having to swop for a new item, so ended up going there twice. Also tagged some shopping onto a Tesco scout camp shop which was being delivered on Thursday night. Of course I paid for our goods - not the scouts!
DH and DS2 away this weekend so just three of us for dinner tonight. Will do roast pork and trimmings for their return tomorrow.
Have a good weekend all.

Hi all, lovely to see lots of other people returning! :j
The whole mouse potato thing is very disturbing, isn't it? Very grim
NSD here again today! I have a nice gammon hock simmering away with some carrots, onion, bayleaf & peppercorns to make some stock. Going to strip the meat off the bone and make gammon risotto for dinner tonight, it's a family favourite!
I have also been sorting my menu plan for next week... looks something like this:
Saturday: Gammon risotto
Sunday: HM Cornish Pasties with HM chips
Monday: Spaghetti bolognese
Tuesday: HM Tuna fish cakes with roasted veg cous cous
Wednesday: Sausage Casserole with mash
Thursday: Jerk chicken with red chilli & lime potato wedges
Friday: HM pizza
The only thing I need to buy for the above is a bag of potatoes, so I am pretty pleased with that really :T
I am also going to make some lentil soup for lunches and some cheese & sundried tomato scones for snack, as well as the obligatory weekly cake bake, all using ingredients I have in stock
Have a great weekend everyone!

Spent £11.20 today in Morrys then got £5 knocked off with the last of the vouchers. Today I got sweet corn, fresh peas, watercress, carrots and more tomatoes (we eat them like sweets) Last voucher used now
Tonight we had fish & chips with watercress & pea salad and it was lovely. The chips were the last of a bag I found in the depths of the freezer.
Was also wondering where Florenceem had gone to, hope she is ok.MARCH £62.38/2500
