Didn't realise until this morning that I needed more salad stuff plus DH wanted crusty bread. So a trip to bakers followed by Mr T, as it's the closest SM.
Had just put my salad stuff into the trolley when the fire alarm went off! So quickly put everything back, returned trolly to get my £1 coin back and then drove up to Morries to do my shopping. Ended up costing £6.26, will need to add that to my total spend.
I seem to be really struggling with the budget this month. Think I need to start counting my NSDs again as a bit more of an incentive to stop spending!

An unexpected spend of 48p on mushrooms today.
DS1 asked if there's any chance of a cooked breakfast tomorrow, and as he's out all day performing best man duties it seemed nasty to say 'no' - especially as he's been charged for an evening meal he'll not want due to being at the reception
Fortunately I have everything else in (sausages and bacon in freezer which I'm now about to dig out, and some eggs left from when I did carbonara - don't often buy them as I don't like)
43.3% of the way through the month, and 54.24% of the way through my budget.Cheryl0 -

Hello everyone
Well I've finished a four week period and I have come in under £20.00 in each of the four weeks, so what I did instead of putting the excess into my emergency fund I have been to restock the cupboards, so in this next four week period I will be cutting down even further and only allowing myself £10 a week. It should be doable and I will try, so plenty of nsd for me.
My week starts each Friday and each period lasts four weeks as I get paid four weekly, so onwards and upwards (ecky thump)
