Advice to a 21 year old?

I do get where Georgie is coming from....It gets very old to be told you are too thin all the time (at 19 I was seven stone) ......and asked or hints about anorexia -with an undercurrent of being put down (when with hindsight it's envy) and I can see she may have felt undermined even though she probably wasn't.....however that said I've found the best way to deal with dubious comments that may or may not be unkind or a subtle dig is to act like they aren't. If they are meant nicely no harm done -if they aren't then the person usually tries to dig again and ends up looking stupid and mean.
Thanks duchy.That's spot on.

Thank you- all advice and tips very welcome. Only niggle is the one about getting a job- I pay a fortune out of benefits just for one single day a week in childcare to volunteer in a school as part of my TA course. I have a degree and once I've got the only thing lacking (l2 or gcse maths) I'm hoping to get into teaching- that has been my goal for- well, always. I don't have tv or anything, no car, etc., all luxuries gone for this cause. So whilst I'm not working, my diary is stacked full of ways to improve myself, volunteering, courses, everything. I felt the need to address this post as I always seem to get flack in this area. The clich! never actually fits the presupposition! Thank you again!
note- how do you actually start a pension? is it just a general savings account?Up and onwards to the future!

Sort of, but a bit different. You pay in while you're working and in return you get a steady income when you retire. If you do go into teaching you will be able to sign up for a pretty good occupational pension. Its not really something to think about while living off benefits, but sign up as soon as you get that NQT job!
