Dear All
I understand that there is not any mandatory monthly funding requirement for this current account to get £100 M&S gift card.
Just need to do the switching and it ia all done ...
Is my understanding correct ?
Thanks

* Open an account.
* Complete a switch within 6 months.
* be switching a UK bank or building society account.
* not have previously switched an account to M&S.
It's as simple as that really.0 -

Hi,
My account is now opened. My wife also applied and got confirmation email that her application has been approved.
Has anyone completed the switch in the M&S Store branch?
The website says you can but when I rang M&S they told me it's only over the telephone.
Thanks

I've just been accepted for an account and I am considering which other account to switch. I have a TSB account in my name, but I've had it since 1992 and would like to keep it open. But I will switch (close) it if I have to.
The only other account I have available is a Santander Zero account which is a joint account with my wife. We can stand to lose this as we also have a 123 account.
Does anyone know if M&S will allow me to switch a joint account to my new sole account? I'd like to think it's a simple case of both of us signing something, which isn't a problem.0 -
You cannot switch a sole to a joint or a joint to a sole account. If you don't have a spare account, easiest is to just open a new account at a bank you are already with, just for the purpose of switching.0

My switch completed on Friday. Was told it'll take approx 31 days for the voucher to arrive, will update when it comes.0

I'm awaiting the switching paperwork - apparently I need to call back and accept the terms when they arrive.
Bit of a pain to have to listen to fifteen minutes of spiel when I'm only doing it for the gift card but it'll be worth it when I get the giftcard.0
