Free M&S current account - £100 in M&S vouchers if you switch

Think it will be goodbye Coop and hello M&S for me then.


Will pocket the voucher and then use the account to switch elsewhere when another incentive crops up.


The account / services have little appeal to me outside of the voucher. I can almost taste the case of red wine that this voucher will fund

well I think that clause is a risk

It has a first clause which seems to apply to any bank

is followed by OR

then the M&S related bits.

I reckon that clause could limit it to first time switchers only. Whether they actually know that is something else.

No risk at all.


The clause is very clear that it is only if you have used with switching service to switch to M&S previously.

Obviously you did not meet the criteria for automated acceptance and the application needs to be reviewed.


In 2054 they will still need to handle account applications in this way and I see no problem with it.

Is there a minimum term for the account?
I could use a spare account to switch to this, then the next month Co-op, then FD after that to get the £300.

Risk? What risk? 1) I think you are reading something into it that isn't there, and 2) the worst that could happen is you don't get your £100 voucher.

I got that, too and I assumed it is because this isn't just any account, it's an M&S account (I get me coat.....)

Did anyone get any immediate acceptance?
