Hiya!!!
Happyathome - are you on a hot date then? Don't think i'd have the energy lol!
Denise - so sorry to hear about your dog. We've had a similar problem as our dog started to go for other dogs after she was nipped by one. I spoke to a trainer and my vet and who suggested a muzzle but I couldn't do that to her. Now we take her out on a short lead instead of a long one and I have a bag of treats for her. Every so often I tell her to sit and feed her one and then when a dog comes along I do the same and within a week she's not bothered at all with other dogs. I know your dog's been through more but thought i'd tell you what helped ours. Of course they're not 'only dogs' lol. Good luck! xxJanuary budget

Welcome to all the new people, I'm still fairly new and this thread is really inspiring so it's really helping me. Well done rach on the quiz successes!
newmrslockwood i treat my cats like children toogood job they aren't or I would have put Frontline on my kids!
nicki how awful for you - it makes me sick sometimes on ebay when people use keywords that aren't even relevant just to get attention, such as saying "wellies by Dunlop, like Caterpillar doc martens Ugg" and I am sure you weren't doing this. I once got told off by them for putting a few old tv show titles when selling tv related books from the 1960's but I thought it would be OK as they were part of the theme I was selling. I'd got a white background and tried to hide the text in white! How sneaky. Nowadays we just describe the item as much as possible and sometimes even say "X, by Y who also wrote Z" in case people are searching for Z and didn't know X existed or whatever. They never seem to mind this technique. I'm rambling now - ignore me!
Hope your dog gets over it soon Denise
Thanks for your sympathy galantvr4 and HopeElizzy! I'm on honey and lemon this morning in an effort to get rid of the gunknice lol.
Yep, I did the cats with Frontline Spot-on last night. Amazingly I had each of them in turn relaxing on my lap and they didn't even notice I was dripping liquid onto their skin - didn't flinch. My other cats (now deceased) hated the stuff. Maybe it's cos I did the droncit spot-on the day before and now they are used to the sensation. Anyway the fleas are dropping like, er, flies and I just need to keep on top of the grooming, vacuuming and spray the living room where they have been walking and sleeping. I think the rest of the house will be ok.
OK I am off now I need to sweep and mop the kitchen and finish the dishes I have left soaking all mor
Sorry to hear you need more work LJD1 - I wish you a speedy recovery x

You still here lil-me?
Nice to see you TNG. Wondered what had started Pigpen singing.
Well i've done quite a few things off the list. Been out to the post office and got my out of the house bits for the morning done, thankfully cos it is now falling in buckets again. Honestly. I get up each morning and don't have a clue what sort of outfit to put on. I almost put shorts on charlie this morning but i'm glad i didn't bother.
Just had the bleach and stardrops out this morning while charlie was snoozing to stop the house looking quite so grotty.
I'm going to brave going into work this lunch time and see what delights my timetable holds. Keep your fingers crossed for me that i get friday afternoon off. Although i bet i have something random and totally useless. I twigged there are 2 weeks of term left, so i need to sort out what i will be doing while there are folks around to talk to, and i need to talk to the pensions people, and grab the new schemes of work. Oh, and sort out the nursery induction and charlie's hours.
Then i promise i will play with Charlie over the 6 weeks holiday.
He made me chuckle. He crawled across the shelve under the coffee table this morning. I have gradually moved all the crud that was under there, and he decided it would be the quickest route to me this morning, and i am so dozy i thought he was still playing peekaboo with me under the table, and the next thing i know he's grabbing me. He is getting too quick. :rotfl:
Anyway, had some me time last night. Finished reading harry potter 2, so i can move onto 3 now this evening. DH won't be in, so i thought perhaps some time on the exercise bike, then wash my hair and then an early night with the book.
Best go and get on some more cos !!!!!!lugs will be awake soon, then lunch and then we will be out with our coats on.
