  • Morning Flyers.
DeniseNZ- Dogs are not just animals, they are part of our families. Poor baby being attacked. I treat my cats like my children:o.

I sometimes think my furry darlings get treated much better than my scabby darlings! DeniseNZ - I hope you both get over the incident - poor babe!

Galantvr4 - I LOVE your sig - it makes me smile so much when I see it: It is SO positive!

I can't believe how sparkly it is downsatirs - really just the kitchen floor to do: I'll do that before I meet with Mr Army: that should sort my hormones out!! Right - going to have my shower now and make me gorgeous. I feel a lipstick day coming on (and not just because of Mr Army!!).

  • Well i havent been following this for a couple of weeks as ive been decorating. big mistake, my house now looks like a bomb has hit it and the kitchen which i delegate to dh is hideous so today we have to get that sorted and as much washing as possible done. im going away next monday and i really want to leave a clean house to come back to, plus i have no clothes to pack at the moment!!

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room

    Level One
    washing up
    washing + ironing

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Clean floors
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
    Level Three
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leav it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together.
    • Sort out the freezer
    Also
    • tidy round living room
    • hoover
    • empty bins
    • put bathroom back to rights
Well theres a fair old mountain to climb there, leaving some of it to dh as im going to the gym at 10, hes in work at 5 so between us weve probably got 5 hours together to crack on and hes got 3 hours on his own lets just hope the little people cooperate!

We have also begun to use the Dog Listener training book (Jan Fennell) and we need to do a week or so worth of training at home before we can walk her.

DeniseNZ - Can I possibly add a word of very friendly advice that you can ignore as you wish - but I'd hate myself forever if I didn't say anything: PLEASE disregard her method of ignoring your pooch everytime you reenter a room: I've tried it, my Aunt has tried it - and a few others - and all we got were dogs who were convinced they had done something wrong and were in turns cowed and deparate for ANY kind of attention. maybe we all got it wrong - but it broke my heart and took an awful lot of fixing.

    Morning all :hello:

Not a good day here - not been on the computer all weekend and when OH gets the email in this morning he finds one from ebay saying they've pulled one of my listings  Keyword Spamming apparently so I've emailed them back saying "well how else am I supposed to list a collection of 11 Roald Dahl books - some as new?":rotfl::mad:  Also pointed them in the direction of that subcatergory which has a number of people listing "collection...Roald Dahl" or "NEW ... Roald Dahl":mad::mad:

Need to go already and put some washing out as todays forcast is a bit dodgy. Need to go to Asda as we've run out of milk and fruit, and I still have a box of books to edit on ebay (all be it down by 1 listing!). I'm putting blinkers on so I don't see the mound of dishes which I asked OH to wash last night which are still sitting in/around the sink :mad:

    Oh well, laters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Got to phone doc for sick note
Got to make a few other calls
    Phone CCCS and do review
Phone Tax Credits and do review
    Plus loads more

    Wish me luck!!

    Here's my list for today:

    BM
    Washing out
    Tidy kitchen
    Write letter to Lloyds
    Clear greenhouse
    Drop forms off to solicitor
    Pick up reserved library books
Collect friend's child to have tea with us

Plus anything else I manage to get done.

AnW'sMum - so pleased you found the passport, bet you are really looking forward to that holiday.
Pigpen - that is quite enough Bangles for one week, ta very much. OH was passionately into them when we first met (yes, it was that long ago!). Still recall having to listen to it over and over and over and over and over and over...

Most of the fruit flies have gone now after the hidden fruit in the vase incident. Will try to leave windows open as much as poss today to encourage the last few to depart. Got rid of all fruit from bowl, so there's nothing left for them to eat now.

    Have a good day all.
