After an overly sociable weekend, I have totally failed to do anything useful whatsoever!!!
Unfortunately - as my flat was so clean from last week's flying, I kept inviting people round and now it looks as bad as it did this time last week!!! But by the time I finish work it'll be even worse - I'm having a new lawn laid today and the gardener has to take all the debris through the house as I don't have external access from my back garden...
And my parents are arriving on Wednesday morning!:eek::eek::money: I heart Martin! :money:0 -

Michelle have a hug from me, certainly sounds like they have taken advantage of your not being at school to fight your corner over next year's time table. Could you appeal to them to revisit it? If so I would give them options that will work for you as well as for them rather than just saying it's a bag of cr*p. Are you going to be part time (from the sounds of it it won't be much less than full time if you are)? They do have a duty to you as well now that you have Charlie, the old work life balance and are not allowed to discriminate especially if you are going part time.
My option is if i can negotiate with the 6th form i might be able to move one lesson on Friday morning to another slot, but to be honest, that is no bleeding good cos i have to organise the nursery place now. Just talked to DH and think we will have to pay for a 5th day at the nursery as we had planned for my sister to have him the 5th day as we thought it might only be 2-3 hours, but it would be nearer 6.shell wrote:Sorry work is being a pain Michelle, they dont like to make life easy do then. I though there was a shortage of teachers so why can they not be more flexible. Hope you manage to renegotiate some of your hours.
unfortunately we are overstaffed with 30 something women, and about 8 of us have had babies in the last couple of years, and there are people more disappointed than me0 -
I skipped today, which is wrong as it is my first day... but I don't have a dining room and my kitchen is already as clean as its going to get.
Tonight I shall do the oven. And the ironing. Soon as dinner is done I will put some washing away.
I have been out all day.... Guess this post is pretty useless, BUT, I did do the following
Collected new glasses for myself and son that have been waiting for 2 weeks.
Took son to eye appointment, ON TIME!
Posted a small package that has sat on the car dashboard since Saturday.
Tidied the living room(floors will get done tonight)
Yeah, most of the stuff gets done at night as I can't do it during the day. Oldest is on summer holidays and youngest only has an hours nap. I'm just making excuses aren't I?
yeah, pointless post....0 -
yeah, pointless post....
Skipping days is allowed.. so long as it's not every day.. and pointless posts are vital to our sanity!!!
