Sorry no sympathy on this occasion.
If it means meeting your target for the week/2 weeks it just doesn't make sense to not apply for a job just because hours are not on advert.
The time to worry about hours is if and when you get a stage further on like interview.
Plus its about steps to finding a job not just number of jobs applied for. It really isn't that difficult to meet the targets. Even if you apply for jobs you haven't got a chance of getting.
You are fully aware the boxes have to be ticked and that's the way it works whether any of us like it or not.Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy - Anne Frank :A0 -
I agree with NYM suggestions as well.
How many agencies are you registered with? If so do you phone them every week sounding keen?
Whilst it may only be temporary work it gets experience and the fast track on and off JSA if you don't have work for a week actually works ok if they know you are temping.Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy - Anne Frank :A0 -

Of curse, they wouldn't have had the guts to say it in the real world.

The interview I went today was the same interview yesterday because I went yesterday but couldn't find it so I went to the main office a bit further down (around 15 min walk from warehouse) to get a map and by the time I got to the place, the warehouse were shut (as Premier Range as 2 offices) one is show room and the other is a warehouse.
I applied for the warehouse position, any way I went today and it went quite well, the manager is going to let me know in a few days to see if I am successful
This is the Job by the way.

So in reality, you had a chance of an interview yesterday but didn't quite make it rather than make a statement that you had an interview.0 -
The way I see it the benefits board leaves a lot to be desired however much people might feel annoyed there is no excuse for schoolboy/girl behaviour or pointing out people are gay or idiots.
If its a wind up then people should rise above it and still be civil. By not being so the wind up has won.
Also overly berating the OP while achieve nothing if they are geninue except drive them further into the world they are already in.
However there are very many supportive posters who offer good advice. You can make it clear you find something unreasonable without resorting to name calling.Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy - Anne Frank :A0 -

I think we should just accept that some people are idiots, and there's not much we can do about it.Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0
