What has that got to do with him looking for work and getting sanctioned ?

So, I filled in a application for hardship which I posted today which is better then nothing.

The best thing is my housing benefit won't be affected as I called in Contact Burnley and got told my housing benefit will run as normal but need to bring in bank statements, that's the main thing as I don't want to end up homeless due to Job Centre thanks to them I lost my main Job Seekers because my advisor doesn't believe a word about applying for Jobs, I even bring in proof and he said I am not actively looking for work, well I had a interview this afternoon and the manager is going to contact me in the next few days if I am successful or not and I only applied for that Job on Friday.

If that is not Job Seeking then I don't know what is!!!

So, that's 2 interviews you've had in the space of two days ?

    You wrote this yesterday...

Let's hope that you get offered one...or both.

I don't think that remark was appropriate. :(

Indeed, and that is the point many posters have tried to get across to him in various threads when he has insisted in ramming his sexuality down everyone's throat (no innuendo intended).

It is irrelevant, but he insists on everyone he meets knowing.

Then why are there always job vacancies, including many thousands that anyone could do?

Ah, the awkward question that some people don't like to consider, but indeed, a very valid counterpoint.

If there are more unemployed than jobs, and if this is supposed to be evidence that it's unfair to expect people to get work, then why are there literally millions of positions that need filling?

It's almost as though some long-term unemployed aren't doing what they need to do to fill these roles...

I know you've told us about these millions of jobs that need filling before Bill, but where are they.
I've picked one website at random, i'm sure we can go and find dozens that say exactly the same thing ........ Every job has countless applicants.
They point out here a new Costa that wanted eight staff had 1700 applicants. Ok that might not be the norm but it's not a story that's unusual in the news.

Maybe the fact that job seekers have to apply for positions that may be up to 90 mins away from their homes, may account for the high number of applicants companies like Costa get.

I was in Brighton for the last Bank Holiday and just walking along the Lanes, there were several places that had 'Staff Wanted' signs in their windows. They, and I'm sure many other places do not advertise on Job Sites.

If I was looking for someone to work for me, I wouldn't use Job sites. I'd rather ask friends and family if they knew of someone looking for admin work. It's difficult enough choosing the right candidate without having to sift through 100's of applications.
