    Morning all

Done some bits and bobs of flying and laundry so far. Not much but enough to keep my head above water and the boys in cricket whites!

Really need to settle down and write a couple of reports now before going to get some chores done in town and then meeting some friends. I'll still have a bit of time when I get back before picking up from school and going to cricket so hope to get more done later.

Indeed to get flying. I did lots yesterday but my sister came over
with her[STRIKE]noisy hooligans[/STRIKE] /my lovely nephews. They did a good job of destroying my living room and garden. Pots upturned, flowers deadheaded in full bloom.

DS2 commenced his GCSE's today. Double biology followed by geography this afternoon. I had to take him in at 7.45 for a last minute revision session.

    30 minutes to spare...
    Sweep and Mop the floor
Clean those icky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc
Wipe the cupboard fronts, all the appliances and all those manky corners!!
    Got an hour...
Wipe the table, replace cloth if needed
Empty and clean out the fridge.. including the drain hole bit at the back..
    Clean oven/hob
Pick a cupboard and empty and clean it out and replace only what you wish to keep!
    Extras
    HHI ..

Clean the oven shelves.. soak them in wash powder.. that works!

Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
    15 minutes...

Remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace
    30 minutes to spare...
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
    Got an hour...
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
    Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
Sort out the shoes and boots and fling the dead ones and the out grown ones
    Extras
Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs & wipe front door.. inside and out!
Wash any nets/curtains that need cleaning.. put up fresh ones!
Wash those winter coats and put them away/fling the manky old ones.. including the one you have worn for about 10 years!! It is dead.. get rid!
    15 minutes filing

Mumto5 good luck for DS2's exams - mine has his first on Friday.

Reports not written, off to town and was going to walk but rain threatening and late now so I'll drive once the WM has finished.

Right, time to fling the polish/dusters around and get the floor vacuumed. I might even mop the kitchen floor but we'll have to see :p

    Hola flyladies :hello:

Thankyou for your kind words about DS2, he was an angel all day :A and has gone off to school without an argument this morning, I thought he might chance his arm into having another day to home ;)

I remembered at the eleventh hour (well, at 8.55am :p) that I'd moved my usual Tuesday morning customer to the afternoon so I've spent this morning at home. WM has been fed and emptied, ironing all done and away, lounge has been dusted and I'm just about to fling the vac around before heading out to the paid stuff. Not the most productive morning but almost certainly better than I would have achieved if I'd started after work.

Yes it was DD2s silly bf.. I gave him a shot I gave him a lot if opportunities and we are both fluffed off with him now.. She has seen sense and dumped him and while I really want him to seek some counselling to come to terms with this I am not willing to take responsibility for if when I am needed quite so much by my daughter at the moment.

His behaviour just reinforces that her decision is the correct one, as hard as it is and as much as I don't want her to go through it it is for the best!
Piggers as I said before, some people just want to stay broken.:( You've given the lad every chance, and then some; he has chosen to throw it all back in your face (literally, by the sound of it). There comes a point where you have to stay "stop; enough". Wolfy posi-vibes for you and DD2 - onwards and upwards.

LW, there is no shame at all in something over which you have no control. You are a lovely person on the inside and it shines through in your love and concern for Mr LW and care of your canine lodgers, not to mention your support of so many people on this and other threads. Sorrow or embarassment, maybe - but please no shame: you have done nothing wrong and more right than you will ever know.
Thank you. Your words mean a great deal to me, as I remember so clearly my father declaring that my Aunt B's osteo and rheumatoid arthritis was all "divine retribution" on her for supporting my Aunt J through her divorce (my father was violently anti-divorce); basically he was saying that Aunt B richly deserved all her suffering.:( I have no doubt that he'd have said the same of me, for divorcing the KH - and of course for rejecting the religion of my upbringing and embracing Paganism.

The Flying bit: it was raining earlier so the jeans (3 pairs), t-shirt and dress washed this morning have been hanging over the bath; I've just chanced putting them outside as the sun is now out, and the sky clear. Fingers crossed I don't have to do the Washing Hokey Cokey.

Other than that, I'm doing little cleaning tasks and resting in between, that being the most logical way to go at present. Mr LW had to leave at 07:00 instead of 07:30 this morning, as he had a blood test scheduled at 07:20 (just routine, as he's on Amlodipine and hasn't had his blood checked in a while) so all the little clearing up jobs he does normally as he goes along in the morning were left for me - don't get me wrong, I don't mind.

The back lawn wants cutting again, but I'm thinking it's probably not a good idea for me to try and do it, really, with my hands and shoulders so bad. I'm tempted to try though, I must say.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
