Done nowt on list yet.......thought I had best start thinking about what upcoming appointments I have to fulfil so if I am needed to ferry EX to hospital visits, I know what I have and when, what I can reschedule and what is set in stone......YIKES, nearly missed appointment for tomorrow to get my jaws poked and prodded......if I had missed it, it could have jeopardised getting my jaw surgery this summer.

DD1's gubbins is coming home this weekend after the McBust£d concert and to save me £££'s :money: in petrol and overnight hotel costs again in fortnight DD1 is coming home by train with a wheeled suitcase and lappy.....she only has one more exam before she comes home so she is going to "rough it".

I really need to get this weekend over with then sort my money out again. Had my appointment with !ngeus today, who have put me down as fit to work in 3 months time ....despite me spending most of the appointment in floods of tears. "Computer says YES" I have to go back in 3 weeks to update my CV.....I can't keep my hovel clean and my head and purse on an even keel, but some one is going to trust me with multi million pound accounts....errrrrr I don't think so.

Right, no more whinging......time to get something crossed off today

    HHC at 3.30 anyone?

Jasper's been picked up to go home, so time for the Dys0n Tango, then make a fruit crumble of some sort because we've nowt for pud tonight.

Not too long to wait til next dog - Daisy the Shiba Inu (Japanese for "Small Dog" I'm told) will be arriving on Thursday.

Right, better shift my posterior, Dys0n won't put itself around (maybe I need one of those R00mba things).:D

It was all going so well. I was driving thinking "I'm so good, I have been to he tip, charity shop, met someone to give them some Lego, done 2xwm and got the boys off to school. All before 9am". My car started to judder and limped home not before the engine light started flashing. Garage can not fit me in today. I have been told to pop in tomorrow but I can't have a proper appointment until next week.

British gas went into the boarded up house to cut off the power as he hadn't paid his bill. I explained he hadn't paid as he is dead. They promised to make the house safe.

Aww fizz bless him I'm glad it all got sorted in the end. Enjoy your cuddles.

skinty is it worth an appeal? Is it for ESA? I think there is loads of help on MSE forums for that. Hugs x

Well I've stripped and remade all our beds and done one wash but it's still showers here so my bedding is on the maiden in the conservatory, in the sunshine (at the moment).

Just going to bung some fish in the oven for the small people then another HH paid stuff. Might be out tonight there is a meeting at the local town hall about the tr@vellers site planning application. Will see if I can hitch a ride with the neighbours...

Hello could I join this thread? I've been fluttering for a long time, since DD was born, well maybe since DS (over 2 years ago!). Tiredness has me lacking motivation and being generally lazy :(

Weirdly today in spirit of the Grocery Challenge I emptied 2 of my cupboards and cleaned them, only a few things to through out ^_^
I do tend to end up focusing on the kitchen when I get my head into cleaning mode though as it's the hub of the house.

Hmmm not doing well! Maybe I'll turn off the computer and go and tackle my fridge, it's almost empty, before DS wakes up!

    .

Yep, bossy, I have had two years on ESA, so this is the "next step" because I should have been "cured" by going to my Group BD appointments for 6 months  . As I understand it, this is like being asked to turn up for jobseekers and get you into work at all costs and if you fall over because of your disability, you just go back into the system and they get paid every time you go on a placement.

I have to co-operate with this for 2 years otherwise my money stops.

I have worked since I was 15 without a break in service save for maternity leave til the BD got me 3 years ago, so in their opinion they are seeing me as a success story waiting to happen with the associated £££'s in their pocket that goes with it.

Oh well, as soon as I have my jaw surgery I am barely going to be able to open my mouth to speak and eat for months, so that would make for an interesting interview with a prospective employer:rotfl:

I'm just about to log off and switch off the 'puter, but first let me welcome Solstice to our merry band.:o
HHI = Half Hour Ironing - in fact we have HH all sorts of things; HHE (exercise), HHG (gardening) HHC (Challenge - see what you can get done in the half hour) and folks like me who can't manage half hour at a time sometimes do QHChallenges (Quarter Hour)
Stick with us, it'll all become clear (in the words of the window cleaner);)

Gotta go - Mr LW is on his way home.:T
Dare I hope he comes bearing wine??:D
