Hi Folks
Think I must have slept half the night on the floor or something without realising it. Got up this morning - tried to get up this morning and my back is as stiff as a board. I really don't know why, what or when but it's sure sore.
Staggered about and cleared the kitchen and bathroom as far as poss ready for the decorating scheduled to start tomorrow and had to catch bus to work as too stiff to walk very far.
Oh dear and it was all going sooo well.
At work now so will tune in later when I've got home and had my dinner Lx£10day.2014=3213/2015=3421/2016=3238/2017=2702/2018=498..APR=12.03/300

Evening all
Busy day but all went according to plan, DS1 last one just in from work and delighted there was a mug of cold soup, crusty roll and apple and blackberry crumble to tuck straight into. All exhausted, DS1 from work, DS2 from cycling (and pre exam stress) and DS3 from an overload of ricket (played 80 overs of men's yesterday and had area training tonight, school training plus club match tomorrow and school match Wednesday to get through yet).
I've used a voucher to get an internet shop tomorrow of some basic and heavy stuff.
Just need to re tidy up in the kitchen, order a library book, cancel a DD and pay a bill then I can head up to bed.
Must eat some report frogs tomorrow before chores in town, meeting friends for a coffee plus school runs due to cricket bags and cricket match in the evening - good job I filled the car with petrol today (10p off a litre coupon used).
Welcome Solstice
LW you're body may not be willing but you are one of the kindest souls I've every come across xx
Fizz glad your DS coped so well

Oh pigpen that just takes the biscuit!
I've been at the emergency council meeting (you know, about the planning application we've known about for 10 days). We drove round to the site to take photos, OMG it doesn't look good. I've shown the councillor the pics and my deeds / boundaries and they are to escalate it tomorrow. They need an assessor out to make sure it is safe, and are calling for an injunction to prevent any more work. He's calling me back with the lowdown tomorrow.
The good news is there is no way he will get approval. The bad news is, that is so obvious, that he clearly has something else up his sleeve and this is a smokescreen. Fingers crossed its just a rouse to tempt Persimm0n Homes to buy the land at an inflated price (they are to build nearby) so it doesn't devalue their development.

Yes it was DD2s silly bf.. I gave him a shot I gave him a lot if opportunities and we are both fluffed off with him now.. She has seen sense and dumped him and while I really want him to seek some counselling to come to terms with this I am not willing to take responsibility for if when I am needed quite so much by my daughter at the moment.
His behaviour just reinforces that her decision is the correct one, as hard as it is and as much as I don't want her to go through it it is for the best!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Don't know why but it brought this little ditty to mind
'It's the same the whole world over,
It's the poor that take the blame,
It's the rich that make the profit,
Ain't it all a bl**dy shame'
Anyway, I digress. My back still killing me but will do what I can tomorrow, dodging around DH whilst he is painting, though I suppose I'll be in charge of sustenance all day :rotfl:
