You can pull quotes from FT.com in the meantime, I assume?

All seem to be back to normal now - except for some reason FJET.

Gaier Software's MSMoneyQuotes has been updated to version 2.2 which introduces a manual mapping option for those cases where symbols are not mapped properly to MSN Money symbols.
Free update for those who have paid for this software.
Free trial extended to 60 uses, for those who haven't bought it yet.

Could I ask if anyone has updated to Windows 10 yet and how MS Money works with this?
Mike0 -
I have updated one of my PCs to Windows 10 (my secondary machine so if Windows 10 caused problems it wouldn't be a disaster) and had to make a registry change in order to get MS Money to load as follows using Regedit (Google "changing Windows 10 registry keys" if not sure how to go about it):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer] "Version"="9.11.10240.0" (Version key was "9.11.10240.16384").
(this is for 64 bit version of Windows 10 so it might be different on 32 version as I am not sure whether there is the "Wow6432Node" section. Seems MS Money doesn't like more than 1 digit on the end of the Version registry key so some folks reckon)
So far I haven't noticed anything else that has been adversely affected by that registry change0 -

Did that happen with the automatic MS update to Win10 or via the ISO upgrade route? I would have thought MS would have sorted that out with their automatic update.
A bit more about it here https://techjourney.net/microsoft-money-requires-internet-explorer-6-to-function-properly-error-in-windows-10/0 -

It was the automatic download version (the one that had been downloaded and was waiting for me when I fired up the PC on the 29th). Thank goodness for Google....thought I was going to have to roll back to Windows 7. By the way my version upgrade was Home Premium so haven't tried the Pro version yet to see whether that has same issues. I see some people haven't suffered the problem so maybe they were upgrading Win8 Pro?0 -
Many thanks. I was worried I'd lost 11 years of financial records but I've managed to retrieve them using the tips on this thread.0

All going well but recently discovered a couple of shares will not update using the Gaier updater.
They are City of London - CTY and
Bankers Trust - BNKR
Not sure why this should be so as they are well known Investment Trusts.
Anyone any suggestions?

It's probably just a short term glitch as MSN usually has prices for those ITs.
If it happens frequently, you can use a SymbolMap.csv file to map your CTY and BNKR to the internal identifiers used by MSN. See the help page linked above and look at the -m option
In your SymbolMap.csv file you'll need the following lines:CTY,151.1.CTY.LON BNKR,151.1.BNKR.LON
I have all my symbols mapped like this because it makes the update quicker.0
