Oh please don't take a break! :( I can't wait a week to hear how you get on! We'll all be bursting!

I know there was an argument, but it wasn't your fault! And anyway, the people involved have been adult enough and wise enough to admit they were wrong to argue and to apologise, so that has to be good!

No please don't leave us in suspense! We do enjoy hearing from you!

Be nice, please! Pretty please? Pleasy-weasy?

Be an :A. Send us a post Sunday evening? Please do!

P.S. Just noticed your new avatar! Me likie!
    You're funny Pyxis. :D

I'm used to people not liking me and hiding away until it's better was the safest option to avoid any further conflict. I'm back now, as promised. :p

Your next installment is here guys and I'm afraid to tell you it's only a weather report...? ;)

In today's weather I can report that the desert has saw high levels of precipitation for the first time in over 7 years, bringing an end to the record drought. :rotfl:

I think it really depends where you are. My cousins live in California and I have spent a lot of time there and I find their lifestyle a million times more laid back than in England. Especially things like the attitude towards working from home...they live/work in Silicon valley and my cousin never goes into the office - he does everything from home at his own pace and in his own time. It means he can go days with doing no work at all, then work for 30 hours straight when a deadline is approaching. No one cares as long as the work gets done. Here, my husband is pretty high level in his job and ought to be trusted yet on the rare occasions he works from home he needs to be very 'visible' logged in to the system from 6.30am to make sure they know he is working. Just completely different attitudes and lifestyles.

Ah, well my lot are in Illinois, and commute to downtown Chicago, which, like New York, is quite target obsessed and 'driven' sort of thing. Very competitive.

But, as I say, they live in a beautiful house, in the suburbs, complete with the obligatory swimming pool etc., and share an extended family holiday lodge up by the lakes, would never be able to afford this life over here, and I suppose you trade one thing for another.

    Lin :)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

Pyxis, everything is perfect right now. :D

I'm tongue tied lol if 'making whoopee' is the euphemism you implied, then you would be correct. :rotfl:

Hey Lin, I think in the UK you can afford more because you do not have to pay health insurance. I pay over $5000 for my health insurance. If I was in the UK I would be much richer.
