I'd bet money on it being a jägerbomb.
They've got the best of us.
I shouldn't worry, there are very few people (though only once for me!) who have avoided a chunder situation.
Stay away from the jägerbombs in futurex

The Usain 'Chunder' Bolt comment seems very light-hearted and jokey to me.
If you really had blown it I think he wouldn't have said anything at all and avoided you.
I'd carry on as you were, if you avoid him then he's going to think something's wrong, or that perhaps he did something wrong, and will avoid you for that reason as well!0 -
just joke with him about it, tell him you were embarrassed and hope it has not put him off and that next time you will take it easier.
He obviously likes a drink so has probably been there on seen it before, if he was a non drinker and sat there glaring at you for drinking i could understand0 -
Ask him out again - but for coffee like we suggested the first time lol. Promise not to hoy up all over! Sounds like it might be seen as slightly amusing. Shows personality and willingness to give things a go at least and nothing ventured nothing gained at this point. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0

Yes, I agree.
If you haven't spoken to him up to now, maybe it would be a good idea to approach him on Monday and say,
'Look, I'm really sorry and embarrassed about what happened. I'm not used to drinking large amounts of mixed drinks, as you probably realised. I hope you don't think too badly of me, and I REALLY hope I didn't embarrass you too much, but if I did, I apologise, I really apologise. I've been too mortified to speak to you about it up to now. Up until that moment I was really enjoying your company. Next time, perhaps we should steer clear of the hard stuff!!'
That gives him an opening to suggest another date.(I just lurve spiders!)

I love :eek:0 -
Drive next time, guys love a cheap date and a free taxi.
jägerbombs 2 for a £5 in JDW how much in the US?0 -
I agree with other comments - if you like this guy, you've got nothing to lose by talking to him, making a joke of how embarrassed you are. If you avoid him, he's probably going to think that you don't like him. The fact that he did make a light-hearted comment to you on Monday is a good sign.
Having said that - you were playing a drinking game and drank at least five shots plus whatever else it was? How was that ever going to end well??0 -
I agree
The thing is compared with a lot of Americans the Brits have a bit of a different drinking culture -so one faux pas isn't going to scare him off the way it might certain Americans (I know I'm generalizing hugely here before someone says so )
If you really can't face him -text or email Pyxis's post in your own words....and see what happens. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
I'd be asking him in a joking way if he wanted to go out on a none alcoholic date...People don't know what they want until you show them.0
