Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere but please can you tell me if Board guides are exempt from the 'self promotion' ban on MSE?
I didn't think anyone that worked for or ran a company were allowed to post about said companies comps?

TomBeast,
The BG's have to abide by the forum rules the same as members have to. If you find that this rule is being broken then on the offending post/posts click on the report button & explain why you have reported the thread/threads & the forum team will look into itThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
Thank you so much for your help0

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rules) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.I am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Please note that Ambassadors are not moderators. Any posts you spot in breach of the Forum Rules should be reported via the report button, or by emailing forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.All views are my own and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.0

Hi!
Board Guides are forum users like any other who've volunteered to help keep the forum running smoothly. As someone above said, if you think they've broken our rules please use the report button on the post.
Thank you!Could you do with a Money Makeover?

I would say in some cases board guides would be held to higher standards, it has certainly how other forums I have helped moderate in the past have been. New members can usually be tolerated not knowing some of the more forum specific rules as they do not know necessarily...we cannot use that excuse
