Thank you, I was majorly confused
This week has been a fly lady disaster as I've barely done anything. Thank goodness I'd done all the lists whist on holiday or the house would look ten times worse. Planning on having a big cleaning blitz, probably on Saturday, this weekend.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hello <peekaboo> are you all hiding? Hmm.
Anyway, been out for tea, lovely time, come home and the house is a tip. I wasn't gone 4hrs and the kids should have been in bed for at least 3 of that...

Hey thanks for that. I've been moaning for months since all my panels stopped working and have to sput in by hand. I'll try it now. I can now strike this outIf you want to strike through, there is an icon to do so when you are on advanced reply. it's up top an S with a line through it.
Or you can type the code [ s ] whatever you want to write [ / s ] but leave the spaces out of the bracketed bits IYSWIM?
They sound like teenagers. I think it's a fact that the 'terrible 2s' seems to return with a vengeance. They are now more verbal and much bigger but basically still selfish a lot of the time. It does passDs1 has been ranting how I never let him have hobbies and didn't let him join a football team. I'm so upset I feel like giving him a list of all the things he did go to. There is never any happiness shown here whatever I do.
Ds2 screaming because he doesn't have his own room.
Don't know why I bother.

Oh gremlins - Natty can you contact the board guides and get them to undo what they have done.
No more flying done but I have done most of my reading for tomorrow. DS1 has been to collect the cake from one ASDA and I need to take it to the other for printing tomorrow first thing.
Really busy day tomorrow so flying doubtful. Stressed over some info a friend has shared with me, going to meet up to discuss when we can both get some free time.
Right just need to finish in the kitchen and then bed.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
After yesterday's megaflight, today threatened a complete lack of flying. I started a migraine this morning and spent a couple of hours before lunch and another three after lunch trying to sleep it away - so no gardening between showers or anything else

This evening we went to 1k€@, and for once I was armed with a list. We had tea there (not quite SW, but it's only 1/21 of this week's meals
) and then found every single item that we wanted very quickly, without having to traipse all round the store.
I am now the proud owner of a new ironing board which is at least half the weight of the one which I inherited 45 years ago from an aunt (and it wasn't exactly new then!). We have very inexpensive but sturdy folding wooden chairs in our bedroom on which to hang/fold tidily any clothes that are still good for another wear, rather than dropping them on the floordrobe. A hanging shoe tidy in the under-stairs cupboard has transformed the storage arrangements for gloves, scarves and hats and gives us much more room to reach coats hanging at the back. The spare room has a new bedspread. I have two deep square white picture frames into which I am glueing the heads of the white artificial roses which decorated our wedding cake - so glad I didn't throw them out in the move last year! - and these will be hung on the dark brown wall above the head of our bed. And DS1 and DDiL have yet more storage boxes and 3 large laundry baskets (which are perfect for DGD1+2 to commandeer for boats :rotfl: ). All very satisfying
Now I must take some more migraine tablets and go to zzzzz again..... Goodnight all.0 -
Morning all - not here again this am but will catch you this afternoon.
Hoping to do the bathroom well before I shower and go however.
Am leaving items on the list that I want/need to do today and over the weekend. Happily all my ironing is up to date - apart from DS spare bedding and we don't go down for a couple of weeks yet.

Hope your migraine has gone
we have one of those storage things on the inside of DD cupboard door. It's fab! We keep hair bobbles, clips, baby wipes, sudocrem, Calpol in the higher ones and in the lower ones she slots her princess dolls
Rapunzel and Snow White share a pouch "so they don't get lonely" :rotfl:
I want to pop to a garden centre today, I have a little hanging basket thing at the front but the tub broke in the storms, so I need to find another that fits. Also, we planted a tree for DH, and sadly that hasn't survived the storms either, so I think we'll replace it. We might plant it tomorrow to mark our wedding anniversary (assuming I find one I like).
His cousins funeral is next Friday afternoon. I need to book DS at after school club. Goodness knows what I'll do with DD. I wonder if my mum would be able to manage her own school run with DD tagging along... Hmm. I will ask. I don't really want to take her with me.
Right. Must get showered. I had garlic prawns last night. I smell like I'm sweating garlic :rotfl:Bossymoo
