Work decluttered, I put on my "fat" jeans this morning and even they were a bit of a squeeze :( Stood on customer's scales as we have none and it's no wonder I am struggling to fit into most of my clothes  I NEED to stop drinking so much cider. After the BH, obv ;)

Just about to vacuum the kitchen and chuck the mop about.

    Morning all.

Not caught up with the thread so hugs, spoons & vibes as appropriate to all :D

I lost yesterday to work and sewing! I seem to have lost this morning so far to the internet :o We've had a slight change of plans this weekend. Ex is sick so DD is not going away now (changed the date to later in the month) and he's coming Monday for the day instead, so I'm changing my plans for today/weekend so DD can clean her bedroom herself and do some ironing! I'll do mine, school uniform and household, she can tackle her mega pile of 'own clothes' ;)

Just put the snooker on to watch while I sort out work stuff from yesterday which I didn't have the energy to deal with. I have work again tonight but only 2 customers to see so it won't take long.

    This week must do:

Update finances / review budget :(
Menu plan around what we have in
Book Mr A delivery for Sunday/Monday
Finish teddy bear - Partly re-assembled, just the legs to sort, re-stuffing and then stitching the back up.
Catch up with magazine reading - 5 to go - then recycle.
Fix DD's shoes (personalised ones which the decorations are coming off due to how hard DD is on shoes :() hopefully before the weekend so she can take them with her.

Right, freezer is now defrosting. I have possibly chosen my new patio furniture (MiL gave me £50 for my birthday :D lovely lady so that's a big part of the furniture) which may well come from Asda. I will have a looky loo later when I shop and if it's ok, I shall buy. Then I have to figure out how to get it into my car! Measured up and I may be able to get the freezer into the utility but the space would be better for the dehumidifier and the laundry basket. Hmm, where can I put the freezer then?!
So much stuff to get to the tip it's untrue. Need to do about 1.5 million tip runs.

    HHC FROM 11:15 anyone?

£s decluttered. We have a lovely miniature standard willow tree. It has white tips and looks like it's covered in feathers :)

Also bought some lily bulbs and a mini greenhouse thing to replace out cucumber frame. And a blank card - going to send a snail mail message to my friend who moved back to her home town a few months ago.

Mum will have DD for me next Friday (phew).

I really must do some housework <yuck> :D

Bossy, the Willow and the iris bulbs sound like a lovely idea. Somewhere for you to sit and reflect in calm, peace and beauty. You deserve it xx

Hi all; I am here, just I don't log onto the internet early on, or I lose too much of the morning puttering about online instead of doing tasks.;)

Mr LW saw the GP yesterday, and my amateur "diagnosis" was correct; he has an inguinal hernia.:( However, they are not proposing to do anything at this time; he is just to go back to the GP if it gets worse or starts hurting him a lot. I've nursed a convalescent inguinal hernia patient before, many years ago, following a repair operation, and it was 3 months of hell; however, from what I can gather online, surgical techniques are more refined now, and if he does end up needing an operation, the recovery time should be shorter. I am already working out strategies for coping "just in case" iyswim. At this point the main thing is to stop a very large BD from taking up residence.

I've eaten a small but elderly frog; sorted out some less-than-helpful "self help" books to go to the CS, and weeded out some instruction leaflets for items we no longer have for recycling. I need to put a duster round the lounge shortly; though I think I'll have to dust round the larger dragons, as I don't think I'll be able to lift them at present.

Sticks, spoons, posi-vibes and a big pot of :coffee:on the table, please help yourselves.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
